We ordered a honey baked ham over the phone for Christmas dinner. We went to pick it up as per our order on 12-22-22 and there were two huge lines of people picking up hams. No one was in charge and no one told people which line to stand in. After half an hour, it turned out we were in the wrong line. We were in the line for internet orders, not phone orders without knowing, as were many other people. Another half hour later of watching people getting angry, it turned out that the store was out of hams for the phone orders. Apparently they were selling hams to walk-in customers instead of holding the hams for those (like us) with actual order numbers. We drove an hour and a half round trip to pick up an ordered ham (with an order number) that we didn't get. So many angry customers. No apologies from the employees, just shrugs and "I don't what else to tell you." We bought a ham at Kroger after this debacle. Never again, we learned our lesson. On my classic sandwich I had 1 1/2 slices of meat on each side of the bread. The other one was similar. I will never, repeat never go there again unless it is in Florida. The Jackson, TN one on VANn Drive is the worse. Yet I go back and back because I love the ham. The black manager made me cry one day. I tried calling the manager but no one answers. It’s sad to get all the way home and realize you really don’t have any food to eat. I bought $37 plus tax worth of food there yesterday and came home with garbage. Read moreGina’s customer service is absolutely terrible, she is a bully toward other employees which may explain why employees do not return. On the first day around her she made statements about not going anywhere assuming her relationship with the owner is April is solid enough for her to be comfortable in her unprofessionalism. She is negative with a very distasteful attitude. Customers were even approaching me stating how rude she is and comments she made under her breath. I do not recommend anyone becoming an employee from my experience of being in the store with her for a temporary gig opportunity and as an entrepreneur myself.
