Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Jackson

Very bad customer service. 2/9/25 which is today, has bogo 10 piece wings. I sat home for the past hour trying to order through the app and it has not worked. As I sit here in their restaurant, it still is not working. I asked the front cashier, Victaysha, if they could honor the deal they’re promoting and she ask the manger and I was told no. The manager on duty at 6:15pm, male, explained it’s online only. I expressed my understanding, however, the app is not working. He quoted, that’s not his problem, he’s not a corporate store and does not have to honor it even after showing him the app and it not allowing me to order through the app. Very poor business model and highly don’t recommend using this location if that is the way they treat the very community that pays the bills here. My husband and I came in to eat and got salads. My husbands salad was thrown into the bag and all the toppings were all over the bag mainly the blue cheese crumbles which is the main part of the salad. He went to the front to ask for more and the young man behind the counter was fine. The manager though did not want to give any and was extremely rude. Not understanding why the food wasn’t placed in the bag properly or even why it was put in a bag because we stated we were dining in. My husband actually ran the Zaxvy’s on Locust Grove as a manager himself so he knows the protocols and there should not been such a big deal in needing the extra crumbles for his salad as this manager made it. I don’t visit Jackson often, but we were in the area to check out a historic home my friend wanted to see — unfortunately, it turns out it’s no longer there, which was a letdown. Since we were already in town, we decided to stop by this Zaxby’s.

The experience was just okay. I was really craving the fried mushrooms, but this location didn’t have them. I ended up ordering the fried pickles — they had flavor but were way too salty, even with the dipping sauce.

My friend had a salad and liked the portion size since it was her first time trying Zaxby’s.

The atmosphere wasn’t great — trash bins were slightly overflowing, and the decor felt dull. Honestly, I prefer the Conyers location. I probably won’t be visiting this one again...
