Bono's Pit Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Jacksonville Beach

I want to start by saying how happy and Great Service we had at this Bono. My wife and I had just made it to Florida from Atlanta for my brother,s funeral which it was also our wedding anniversary, we were sad, tired and hungry driving all the way from ATL when we decide to stop at Bono's for dinner. The staff greeted us kindly and attentive but the manager behind the counter came out to us to greet us and went out of his way to please us. He was caring, kind, respectful, attentive to his guest, great service manager and also a real patriot. I will always visit this restaurant when I visit Jacksonville. The food was the best, delicious and great seasoning just to say perfect.

I only rated it four stars because of the food. Your food is really tasty, especially the fried squash. However, I was with a friend who wanted onion rings that you now no longer carry. The portions have gotten smaller, and the prices way higher. But what made it not a pleasant experience is that even though our waitress was nice, she spent too much time flirting with a guy at the bar counter. We had to call out numerous times to get her attention. One time, I actually had to go get her because she wasn't paying attention to us. I made an order over the phone this evening. I ordered 2 fries & 2 10 wings 1 with Buffalo sauce & the other with sweet & tangy as well as 6 ribs with fried squash. I didn’t get no forks napkins no bbq sauces. They put both orders of fries in one box but should have been in 2 boxes then was going to charge me another fry because I wanted it in their boxes because it’s going to 2 different people then turned around & gave me a box for me to put it in.
