I told the lady at order window no pickles and she confirmed my order before pulling up to pay. After I paid, I pulled up to pickup window and there was a really sweet old lady there who handed me my order and gave me the amount of ketchup I asked for. Looked like she was in training and being yelled at though :/
Then I left and pulled over to check to see if my order was right and it wasn’t :( both my burgers had a ton of pickles in them. Found out after I took a bite out of the first one 😖 and even if I “just take them out” there’s still that pickle taste.
Anyway I went back in drive through to let them know i got pickles in my burgers. When I told the lady at order window, i showed her my burgers. and she took both the old burgers back. Then I said yeah so 2 double cheeseburgers no pickles please and she repeated “no pickles” to me. Then she went to yell at the kitchen saying that I asked for no onions and got onions lol what! So when she came back to the window I told her, no, onions are fine. I just don’t want pickles. No pickles. And she said “oh, no pickles?” Lol then she went to yell at kitchen again 🤣.
When i pulled forward, it was the same sweet old lady at the pickup window. I confirmed that the burgers had no pickles. There was a lady behind her (probably manager) over her shoulder making sure she was doing a good job so I told her thank you so much and the sweet old lady said “I’m sorry” as if it was her fault! But it wasn’t! I told her it was absolutely okay and thanked her and told her to have a great day. I hope she isn’t being mistreated :( or blamed for this. It was the lady at order window who misheard me. Not the old lady at pickup window.
When I was eating my burgers in my car though, they had a weird smell. And didn’t taste right. I got really paranoid and began gagging and spitting it up. Wonder what they did with...
Read moreThe lady at the second window tried to give me a rejected sweet tea. We watched as the customer in front of us received a drink for their order. Something was said, the drink was given back. We get to the window and I immediately tell my husband, "If they try to give us that drink- I'm going to request a new one" We locate the rejected drink. It's sitting next to the rotating cup holder that gets filled with drinks. We know it's the rejected drink because when we don't receive our sweet tea for the order and my husband has to request for it, the lady in the window is like, "Oh" Light bulb. Grabs the already filled cup, takes it over to the sweet tea container and gives it a little top off. We couldn't see if the customer had opened the lid and took a sip and that's why it was given back, we have no clue. Sanitation regulations state that once a customer receives the item, you are not to take it back or AT LEAST not give it to ANOTHER customer. Needless to say, when the lady is trying to hand that drink over to my husband, he doesn't take it and request a fresh one. She begrudgingly does so, and when the male manager is asking her what she's doing and why she's doing it, we can't hear her answer, but he kind of gives Her a look. Have...
Read moreMcDonald’s has long been a staple in the fast-food industry, known for its convenience, iconic menu items, and global presence. Whether you're craving a Big Mac, crispy fries, or a classic Egg McMuffin, McDonald’s has been a go-to choice for a quick, familiar meal.
However, recent experiences suggest that McDonald’s is struggling to maintain the quality that once set it apart. The burgers often arrive lukewarm and lacking the fresh, juicy flavor they used to have, while the fries, once a highlight, are frequently soggy and under-seasoned. Even the menu’s newer items, which aim to offer a fresher and healthier alternative, have not consistently lived up to expectations.
Adding to the disappointment is the noticeable increase in prices. While fast food has generally become more expensive, McDonald’s price hikes seem to outpace the value offered. What used to be an affordable meal now feels less justifiable, given the declining food quality. This combination of higher costs and lower quality has left many customers questioning whether McDonald’s still provides the value it once did.
In conclusion, McDonald’s remains a convenient option, but the recent decline in food quality and rise in prices make it less appealing than...
