Do not purchase appliances at this store. The subcontractors would be rated in the negative if possible. Sloppy. Left debris in road. Shoved the hoses on my valves which triggered a leak. Tested my dryer with papers and plastic inside. Didn’t pull wrapping off…told me to do it. Washer made LOUD scraping noises. I Immediately drove to store for assistance. Was told it would be10 DAYS for someone to come out and “check the installation “ (“Home Depot procedure”). That equated to the same installation company coming back 10 days later! They spent less than a minute telling me the plug and cords installed properly and that’s all they do. I asked them to look at the machine and try to fix it. They said they don’t do that. So I’m now over 2 weeks without the means to wash clothes and I wasted another entire day waiting for “the installers to look” at my machine. I asked for a return while they were there. Wouldn’t take it. I called the manager. This was Thursday. Manager said she couldn’t get it today but she was due in Fri at 1pm and would let me know. She never called. I called at 2:30. She called back around 2:45. She said no one could come until 4:30. When HD staff (nice guys) came and took off hoses, the leaking wouldn’t stop. Had to call plumber on a FRIDAY night (double pay). Their ridiculous “procedural process” cost me days and time and ended on a Friday evening with a leak that had to be repaired! $1,400 later I have new valves that the installer likely broke. AND ZERO “I’m sorry” from HD management. Just an email credit that was pitiful enough to keep $100 “removal fee” on for my old takeaways AND a PENNY charge for changing the way the door opens on a dryer I don’t even have! No store credit. No, “I’m sorry” for the 3 weeks of inconvenience. Nothing after 3 long weeks of trying to buy a washer dryer. Their process and contractors are disgraceful. If you buy something there and have a problem, good luck! Your customer service is atrocious. Why couldn’t the next manager on duty haven taken this on and kept it moving and I would not have been saddled with a Friday night plumber call! There are times a “sorry” or small store credit or SOMETHING can help a pitiful situation as I...

I own a residential Carpenter business and shopping Home Depot at least 3 times a week minimum. I used to always use the Atlantic and girvin store however recently I have moved so I switched to the Jacksonville Beach store. The first order I placed with them was for about $3,500. They told me that part of the order had to get delivered to the store and then once they got that then everything would be delivered to site. The part they said had to get delivered to the store went straight to the site and nothing else showed up. I went in there and even though I paid for delivery it never was scheduled. My second order I placed with them for about $2,500 three items were missing in about four items were completely wrong. Then I go in there today and the one time I ask for help because I usually know where everything is I walked up to the guy and I say, excuse me sir I am looking, that's as far as I got he told me I just got here when I don't work in this department and he walked off. Then I go to self checkout and the workers over there are you sitting there talking about not paying attention to anybody but as soon as I walk up and I'm assuming it's because I'm in my dirty work place one of them stops what he's doing comes over there and stares at me right next to me the whole time I'm checking out. He didn't do it to anybody else that was checking out and I'm assuming it's because they were all very well-dressed Ponte Vedra people. The store is absolutely terrible. Atlantic and girvin is amazing. Home Depot should pay more attention to the people that give them...

Once again Home Depot "lite" has failed this beach resident. I ordered 4 of an item online and received a call saying they had 0 of the item in stock when it said they had 5 in hand. I could understand 1 or 2 less due to a sale between my order and pick up but to have none is unprofessional. A phone call with a customer service agent ended in the decision to return the purchase price to a gift card and use that to purchase a comparable item they had in stock instead of issuing a refund that would take 3-5 days to be returned to my card. Immediately upon hanging up, I received a text message saying my order was cancelled and a refund taking 3-5 business days was in process. So now not only do I have to come out of pocket more money today for the comparable items and wait for the refund of my original purchase, I have to now go up to the store and purchase the comparable items when I was supposed to just have a quick curbside pick up. This is the second time this home depot has created a massive inconvenience gorgeous me. Considering they are the only affordable home improvement store we have in the Beaches area, you would think they would have better customer service and up to date in stock items online. Maybe we need a Lowes or comparable store to keep them as professional as other home depot stores in the Jacksonville area. DO NOT use this store if your needs...

Home Depot in Jacksonville Beach, FL, stands out as a convenient and welcoming store, offering a great shopping experience. Located in a relatively quiet area, it's an ideal spot to avoid the hustle and bustle often found at larger stores in busier locations. One of the most notable aspects of this store is its friendly and helpful staff. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with smiles and a genuine willingness to assist with any project or question. Whether you're a seasoned DIY expert or a first-time home improvement enthusiast, the team is always approachable and patient. They go the extra mile to ensure you find exactly what you need, often providing useful tips and suggestions to make your project easier. The store itself is well-organized, making it easy to navigate through the wide variety of products, from tools to plants, hardware, and more. Even during peak hours, the layout ensures that you're not overwhelmed. The peaceful setting of this Home Depot makes it a refreshing place to shop, with none of the noise or congestion that can sometimes accompany a large retail experience. Overall, this Home Depot excels in customer service and convenience, making it a top choice for Jacksonville Beach residents.

We recently purchased a $1700 GE induction range from Home Depot. Delivery was smooth, but upon first use, we were surprised by how loud the buzzing noise was during cooking—something we didn’t expect and weren't made aware of beforehand. After some research and a visit to the store, I was advised to contact GE for a service appointment. A GE technician came to inspect the range and confirmed that the noise wasn’t a defect but rather a normal part of how induction ranges operate. I contacted Home Depot again, hoping to exchange the range for a standard electric model, only to be told that their 48-hour return policy had passed—something I wasn’t clearly informed about at the time of purchase. Now, we’re left with an expensive appliance we can’t comfortably use due to the excessive buzzing. I’m disappointed that there seems to be no flexibility or support in resolving this issue. For such a significant purchase, I expected better communication, clearer return policies, and a stronger commitment to customer satisfaction.

This is the least professional home depot in the city. I purchased a door. Admittedly my children drew on the door. I also purchased a 5 gallon of paint to paint my rental unit. The door is and eighth of an inch too big. Anyone who has hung a door knows that it will not close. Here I am, they refuse to return it. The assistant manager was out right rude. The manager acted better, but than told me that because of the drawing he cannot take it back, it is not the way he sold it. But that it is OK the the physical workmanship is off. I understand they are not responsible for my children's attempt at art work. But, their workmanship from the start is clearly flawed. I have had a pro account for 16 years. These new home depot people are ruining the company. I am making the lowes move after this
