I used to love this place, but yesterday I had a horrible experience. First of all, my classmate found a scouring pad in within the mushrooms. If you don't know what that is, allow me to explain. It's the thin ball of metal that you use to scrap hard to clean particles off of your dirty pots and pans... .Now, I'm usually a pretty forgiving person, accidents happen, but here's where it gets worse. When the disgusting bacteria filled ball of filth was removed from the pan of mushrooms, the lady did not bother to remove the pan that was obviously contaminated now. We decided it would be best to inform the guy behind the counter who processed payments of our grievances, but he turned his nose up and said that he was going to give us a dollar off of our order. Don't really solve the problem, and we politely informed him of that was he told us and I quote "That's not my problem" Here's the thin The food here is not that good. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 4.5, and that's being nice. While the atmosphere is nice (until you venture into the bathroom) The customer service is horrible. Please don't go here. Go somewhere you're appreciated as a customer. I'm not going to give my hard earned money to someone who see's me as just another body, and neither should you. Go somewhere that's clean, customer friendly and serves a satisfactory...
Read moreI live in Georgia where for some strange reason the Chinese places don't offer kung pao beef, only shrimp & chicken which I don't like. My 4 year old daughter has to routinely visit Nemours for specialists appts and I was so happy when one of the oncology nurses told me about this place which is conveniently located off the interstate we take going home so we can call when leaving the hospital so our order is ready to be picked up when we get there. They also have a really nice restaurant area if you rather eat in but we've never eaten in as after her appts, my little one just wants to go home. I always get the kung pao beef which is perfectly spiced & so delicious. My daughter always wants plain fried rice which they very kindly make special for her as she doesn't want a lot of the usual ingredients in her's. My husband orders the pepper steak, son 1 gets shrimp fried rice, & son 2 always orders fried pork dumplings. The food is always awesome and I only wish that there was a Chan's where I live. I also appreciate the fact that they offer such a varied menu where you can find something for everyone at...
Read moreI'd take a pass on this Chinese restaurant. Some of this review is my own experience, some, with emphasis, is straight rumors. My own experience the food here isn't much beyond the frozen food Chinese section at a supermarket. Especially the shrimp egg rolls. Moo Goo Gai 🥘 Pan same thing. Supermarket. It is said that market based competition is a good thing because it fosters innovation and good customer service. I'm not sure this would apply to this location. By my count there are two other quality Chinese restaurants within a mile and a half of this exact location that both serve authentic or at least better prepared Chinese food. My last part of this review is pure rumors, rumors are never good as they often contain about 1/4 of the real truth. But I've heard the rumor that the owner of Chan's Chinese restaurant is a very successful real estate developer and strip mall owner with long term leases, like this plaza and running a Chinese restaurant is really secondary as a part of this overall...
