I am currently sitting in the Parking lot at this location and I am completely mortified at the experience that I just had. I went into this restaurant I patiently waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence and it did not happen. I went to the restroom, came back, and stood again, and still no one acknowledged my presence or said seat yourself at the least. I did recognize that there were only 2 workers present so I assumed they were too busy to stop and acknowledge me. Therefore, I walked over to one and asked should I seat myself. She adviced yes. You can sit anywhere ma'am. I then asked if I sit at a table in the back will someone know that I'm there? She then says well sit anywhere in this area ma'am. I smiled politely and said exactly ,Thank you. I will sit in this area.
This woman then tells me you do not have to be hostile ma'am. (My tone is not soft on the norm) We must be careful when operating on perception and not fact!!!!!
Then there began a back and fourth between me her and a customer that felt the need to come to her rescue. Stating you dont know what she's been through... (um.sir who was talking to you??) SHE (the employee) WAS RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND WHATEVER OCCURRED on shift PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ME!!!!!!
That customer really, really should mind his business. This could have went real wrong really quickly. I just walked out!
I'm not a troublesome person at all. But that ol DEVIL, will use whomever will let him.
Yall, please be careful when going here better yet just don't go.
To the waitresses, please get JESUS and another Job! I generally do not eat at Chill's...I will never step foot in this location again, if any location ever again!!!! Chillis, Baymeadows, Wal-Mart plaza. P.S. Sorry ChilliS OWNERS It's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNow this is how it should be done! I practically boycotted Chiliās after my last visit to the St.Augustine location... Lunch was long over due and Hangry setting I opted to give this location a try. From the minute we walked in I could see this was a different kind of Chiliās We were promptly greeted and seated by a very attentive hostess who asked how our day was going and mention the terrible weather outside. Our server Chris (from Nashville) was not to be out done either. He explained right away that they were shorthanded today and asked if he could bring us something to drink while we took a look at the menu. Chris made several suggestions all of which would go perfectly with the ugly weather. I opted for the Chicken Avocado Sandwich and a bowl of potato soup. Spot on Chris!!! It wasnāt just the way he handled everything during lunch checking back on us twice to ensure we had what we needed It was when he recited back to me my order and remembered that I asked for no onions on my sandwich as he saidāIāll make sure there are none on the soup as well. That simple and yet most important part of our conversation made me take note. This group of servers Chris, Rachel, Amy, and even the MOD Eric all made time to check on us. If my glad was empty someone filled it, when it was obvious we wouldnāt finish Rachel was offering Togo boxes This is a team that work together on all tables not just the section assigned for the shift KUDOS guys you changed my attitude for the day and for my thoughts about Chilis. Hey corporate you need to pay attention to these guys!!! Iāll see you again next time Iām on this side of town. Thank you Chris, Rachel, Amy, and Eric today isnāt so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn Motherās Day, I went out with my mom there for happy hour drinks (our server didnāt even know it was happy hour and what the drinks were) and a quick bite to eat. Our server (wish I remembered his name but he had glasses) literally stood leaned up against the wall at the table next to ours talking to his fiancĆ©e basically the whole time we were there. He was getting her napkins, drinks always flowing, desserts, food out on time. How it should be for all customers but I could tell no one else mattered except her table. It was just unprofessional. He took everyoneās orders and checked on everyone around us except my mom and I. He brought our food and never returned until it was for the check. Had to go to the bar to get napkins and plates for our own appetizer because our server was nowhere to be found. Had to have the host track down our food. Also he messed up our drink orders right off the bat and I had to go to the bar to get them fixed myself only to see our server standing in the back kitchen and they saw me up there trying to get our drinks fixed and just kept walking past thatās how little they remembered we had a table. The bartender, Elise or Alyse not sure how it was spelled was fantastic. She was the only one working the bar at the time and she got us taken care of, got a manger to assist us. We tried to give the kid the benefit of the doubt but soon as my mom tried flagging him down in the beginning to get more salsa for our bottomless chips and salsa and he walked away while she was still speaking, I was just over it. But the bartender, she was amazing and so helpful and made our night better as well as the...
