My Tap Room — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Really enjoy this hidden dive bar. After dinner with my date, we were looking for a few drinks to continue our conversation close by and spotted this bar on google. Pleasantly surprised; the music selection is good, good atmosphere, it's clean, and the decor of this place is really neat. Drinks are priced nicely and they have a handful of beers on tap.

There was only one bartender all night and while the bar wasn't packed it was pretty busy. She was handling everyone perfectly with fast service and keeping our drinks refilled.

I'll be coming back here. This is more of a locals bar where it's hidden off the road in an unassuming area. Great...

If I could give this place half a star I would. It use to be my favorite place to go. Until I met a man at this bar and he ended up hurting me bad. I made a police report and got a restraining order. I was in last night and the bar tender Jules ended up telling me their establishment will not accommodate to my order against this man because he's a regualr and brings in more business with his friends then me. So if he ended up coming in after me and I called cops they would permanent ban me from their bar. So they would rather have a man who hurts women in their bar then a woman who did...

the employees stereotyped me as a “loud and angry” bc i was having a conversation at the same volume as a white man, but he wasn’t labeled as that. the bartender and the other man who claimed to be an employee are prejudiced and i don’t recommend any black person or POC to spend your money here because they’ll make you feel as uncomfortable and singled out as i did. the other black patrons and a couple white patrons noticed and commented and had my back on the discrimination i experienced. don’t believe the positive reviews, this is a white friendly only...
