Avoid at all costs. The food served here is a complete disgrace to Indian food and health hazard because they serve rotten/spoiled food!!!. I will check if I can complain about this restaurant. I would request anyone who tried food here not to form your opinion on Indian food based on what you ate. I went to this place 2 times and this review is after the 2nd time. I ordered a carry out for 'Paneer Saag' and what they gave me is a green foul smelling 'Soup' with fried rubbery paneer pieces. Absolutely had no flavor and any creaminess to it. The spinach that they used to make the saag is rotten. Check out the pics I attached with this review. I wish I could attach the Saag video and show it to you. I also ordered a Veg Kadai with it. Oh my god that is one more horror story!!! Half the sabji was filled with Zuchinni which was raw. None of the other veg were cooked. The gravy/masala in not smooth and tasted horrible. Best part is I asked for extra spice and they added Chilly Flakes on the top like a Pizza!!! Please check out other restaurants like Ma Kitchen, Jax Spice, 5th element etc. That is what real indian food tastes like this. I am surprised this restaurant/take away even survives!!! Waste of my hard earned $ 26.00. ($13.00 for each of that horror story). And please don't ask me about the first visit experience!!!. This will be my last time visiting and none of my friends will visit this again....

Response to Post from Owner Yes, I agree that what I ordered was Veg Kadai and not Navratan Korma. But the feedback remains the same. You can see for yourself in th pics. You are saying you are not sure what happened! I clearly explained the issues with my order. Yes we can discuss later to see how we can sort this out.

And just an FYI, all 5 star reviews are fake! fake! & fake! Dont get...

Ordered Butter Chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala for carry out. Online ordered was placed with Indian Spicy level. Called on phone to specifically request spicy food. Very disappointed with quality. Chicken quantity was less too. Test was bland. Not just because it was not spicy; it was just bland and watered down taste. Imagine Mexican cook trying Indian recipe in the kitchen. No disrespect to many amazing Mexican chefs in town, or for that matter this restaurant cook.

Paid perhaps dollar less than other restaurants on the street. But not worth savings. So many better choices for Indian food as compared to this joint. With this quality, I don't see this one going to exist in couple of months.

Updated post owner response: Part of the growth process is accepting critical feedback and not finding reasons to convince ourselves. Being Indian at heart, I genuinely want you to succeed. Considering JAX size and existing choices, plenty of opportunities here. Price is one of the way to compete, however; that alone can not be USP. Quality and other unique flavor profiles are needed as differentiator. Right now both...

I’m so disappointed with the quantity of curry which is not same every time. Sometimes it’s sufficient to 2 people and sometimes it’s half. The rice with curry is also not same every time. Sometimes they fill the small box and sometimes half, many times they forget to put rice with curry. It happened 2-3 times with me and I thought they missed. If you order samosas or bhajis 2-3 plates now you get one pack of chutney where we used to get 2-3 packs before. So order it one by one so everyone can get chutney. My friend told me that they used to get a bunch of fried chilies with curry samosa but these people will count and put 1-1. I may not come back to this place again for their greedy behavior and same amount of money can get better food from other restaurants near by. Aha people, are you listening the feedback? Some of the curries are made with some spice, they dominate the whole taste and flavor and taste which makes your experience bad. I don’t like their greediness as I said above.

Some of the items of their menu are never available if you call ask to 10 times they are not made today. God knows...

I wish I could get my money back. I placed the order online and I was turned off before even walking in by how filthy the door was. Inside didn't look too clean either and one lady was taking care of everything, phone orders, tak-out orders and the two people dining inside. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, butter naan, and idly/vada appetizer. The chicken was WAY too spicy and tasted old/chewy and I had ordered the mildest option. The bread was the worst naan I've ever had - definitely old, not soft or fresh at all. The vada was decent but the idly was not. I guess one container was a soup - it was nasty and tastes off too. I attached the photos of what I received - the butter naan pictured on the site looks nothing like what I got - where are the herbs? I don't think it was buttered at all. This clearly wasn't prepared just for me - wrong spice temperature, old food, waste of money. Go to Minerva down the street instead!!

There are some hidden gems in every city, to me this is the one here. After living in US for 5+ years and having tried South Indian food in many cities, I can safely say this place is one of the best (my comparison is with the tiffin center food joints in Hyderabad, where the food stock gets over in hours coz they are so popular). I ordered Idli and Vada, both turned out to be fresh and tasty. Sambhar was out of this world and so was the coconut-peanut chutney. The tomato chutney was a little tad salty. I also took black forest and pineapple pastry, again very tasty and not loaded with sugar. Next time I'll be trying their biryani. A must try for all. All big restaurant in Jacksonville Southside area...watch out for this curry point 😊
