Today should have been a great experience as 5/29 is my sons’ and nephew’s birthday. We arrived at approximately 6:30. Upon entry we thought we were going to have a great time. Game cards in hand, kids ran off my daughter and won a red spiked winner winner winner ball, & a Jaylen Ramsey card that will become important later. I was told it would take 30 minutes for us to be seated. 50 minutes later we were walked to dirty tables & chairs to be seated. Literally crumbs & drink condensation rings on the tables, food plastic knives and cherry stems in the seats. It was a mess. After another 15 minutes I stopped an employee, to request the server. Upon arrival she was seemingly pleasant. Orders were taken, and were thinking were getting somewhere. I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta, w/added steak (medium). The server comes out, they said the steaks are too thin all we can do is well done steaks. Me “huh? You know what that’s fine.” Food is then delivered and maybe my expectations were too high. But the plates were handed to people instead of being sat in front of the perspective person. Again, I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta, upon tasting my food the sauce tasted spoiled or as if it was sitting at the incorrect temp. The server asked if everything was ok. I advised no, the sauce tasted spoiled (yes, I had someone else at the table try it, and they also spit the bite out). I changed to the Cali Avo Salad to go. We get the checks I pay the check. The prices are .50 more per food item than listed in the menu. I call the server back, as this is a problem. She takes it to the manager, apparently authorized an military discount. I pay the tab, the To-go salad comes out and it’s a poor excuse for a 20$ item. I ask for the manager again, and she comes out. I show her the menu what I ordered vs the menu, and she’s literally shaking the plate looking for remnants of what’s suppose to be there asking me if I modified the salad. No ma’am I did not. I can remake it. No ma’am that’s ok. She agrees to take it off the bill. I advised I’ve already paid. She states she’ll void (can I get a copy of the voided receipt please, yes). I get the new bill, a not only are the up charged prices still there, the “discount” is now gone. I ask for the manager again who is obviously now irritated with me. Ma’am, I’m not attempting to cause an issue. But the prices are incorrect. She states I can give you 2 dollars on a game card.
Now my frustration is building b/c she’s getting upset that they are literally stealing customers’ money. I unfortunately didn’t realize until I got home, and my daughter asked for my son’s red spiked winner winner winner ball, & a Jaylen Ramsey card so she could gift him his items, for me to realize I left the items on the table… I NEED someone to contact me regarding this severely disappointing experience that took place on my boys birthday, and how your company is and will address the overcharging that is happening as what is printed on the menus is NOT what the customers are...
Read moreToo noisy and crowded for my social limitations and sensory overload. Walls full of TV screens and a constant roar of a packed dining room in addition to my own group made the atmosphere nearly unbearable. I was meeting a large party for a birthday event on a busy Saturday night. I could barely hear our server over the ambient noise even when he was right next to me, and even though he was doing a fine job, the large crowd meant he and the rest of the staff were stretched pretty thin and the wait time was longer than expected. When the food finally started arriving, our table still had no utensils. Drinks had to be ordered and reordered twice more for some of my party members because of shortages at the bar, even for very simple drinks and cocktails, but I didn't order any beverages. My party ordered some appetizers, and I got to try the Parmesan truffle fries and some slightly spicy ribs I didn't catch the name of. They were both tasty, and I got my fries with my cheeseburger upgraded to the truffle fries as well, but kind of regretted it, as their strong saltiness became overbearing after a while, and while the appetizer came with aioli on the side, the side with the burger didn't come with any condiments. Condiments that were requested never made it to the table, and my burger came somewhat underdone, I asked for medium well and received a burger closer to medium rare. It wasn't inedible and I was too hungry to complain, so I ate it, but it was unimpressive and ultimately disappointing for the price point. When the party I was with finished dinner and moved to the arcade, the overwhelming noise and light was just too much for me. Ultimately I feel like it'd be difficult for someone like me to have a good time here, but I know I am by no means the standard to make most judgements off of, since pretty much everyone else seemed fine with the atmosphere. It was just aggravating my anxiety and making it impossible to hear or focus. One thing I do know is hamburgers though, and I felt like I'd had better at fast food joints for half the price I paid here. The appetizers were the highlight of the food, but almost everyone had quite a bit left on their plates when we left, implying to me that they weren't terribly impressed with their own dishes either. Our servers were as nice and attentive as they could be, so I don't blame them so much for the things that fell short, but rather the management that makes decisions that leave a crew so short handed on a busy night is who I'd say is...
Read moreUnfortunately my service was not great being that a server gave himself a higher tip. There’s no telling how many people it has been done to and I’m glad I caught it. It’s unfortunate that you expect people to be honest and trustworthy especially when you was already receiving a tip to begin with. I budget very well and on a day I decide to take my children on an outing for fun, I have to deal with poor behavior of a worker. Every dollar in my home is accounted for and I work very hard to provide for my household. So the same should be done for employees, work hard. Some customers don’t tip at all. So to stand over me while I’m confirming my balance, they have the option of 10%-30% automatically so I choose an option and press pay now. I hand it back to him and he says the tablet is messing up, retrieve another one proceeds to stand over me again and as I was about to hit pay now the server snatches the tablet away before I could hit pay now. And that’s when I knew something, because you don’t like the tip that I think you deserved he took that opportunity to up the tip. I always hit pay now to avoid such things as this but I knew when the total balance came to my bank notifications on my phone he changed the percentage tip. Didn’t even give a receipt just Says have a good day and walk off. No place I’ve ever dined in didn’t give a receipt, why did I have to ask for one. So once I did get it, I confirmed the server up his tip. I have spoken with the manager that did apologize and said they had previous workers do fraudulent activity and they changed things to ensure such activity didn’t happened but since it did he would refund my full tip, it’s been over a week now and I still haven’t received it. I don’t care if it’s $1,$2 or $3 more. It’s my money and it’s the principle of what this server did. Morals and values should be prioritized when dealing with paying customers and the behavior of that server was unacceptable and I guess I will have to take...
