Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Jacksonville

We have been to habit twice since they’ve opened but won’t be back which is a shame because they are close and we were excited to get a good fast food place. The food was pretty good first time although it was cold. But we reheated in our air fryer so not awful.

Figured they just opened so need to tried again — Tonight was a disaster. I picked up dinner on my way to get my husband at the airport and they did not give me the chicken sandwich that was part of the order. The kids meal - they should have kept because it was disgusting looking. I threw it out. The sweet potato fries were soggy and limp and I got something else in there about not even quite sure what it is. I thought I ordered half-and-half onion rings. It looks like they gave me extra of soggy sweet potato to fries….

How do you open a restaurant and have no phone there number to call to report issues??? We are so disappointed because we excited about this place. It’s just not good...

I was expecting to be wowed wowed, I left kind of confused.

Went there with one of my good friends and his son who is in the autism spectrum. Kudos to the restaurant for making the son feel comfortable, which not every restaurant does for kids with special needs.

Ordering is by kiosk, which was pretty solid. You can choose the type of burger, bun and condiments, which there were a lot of options.

The dining room was clean and service was quick.

But other than that, you want to hear about the food, don’t you?

Fries - very thin, nothing special. Drinks - really cool drink options at tge drink center. The Bun - light and fluffy, and they have gluten free options. Burger - good , but to me nothing special. The patty was thin, but not smashed. It wasn’t bad, it just was not that special.

I am going to go back once they have been open longer, just in case I came...

I was honestly looking forward to trying this place out once I saw that it was opening just a short drive for where I live. Unfortunately I did not enjoy the food. The burger itself was extremely bland, didn't seem like the meat was seasoned as at all. It was very overcooked which resulted it to being very chewy rubbery. Zero flavor, tasted like a salad on a bun.

Positives though; restaurant was extremely clean, the gentleman who greeted me who definitely looked to be the manager on duty was super friendly and staff looked well engaged.

Ingredients on the burger all looked and tasted fresh, just wish the quality of the meat overall is better.

Would consider giving the place a second chance...
