Very disappointed. Went in Sunday (10/6) for a haircut. Not the best experience. It becomes my turn and I'm asked to have a seat in the chair.
Except the seat still had the plastic sheet from the last person including that person's hair. I sit on the edge of the seat and finally dude gets the hint and removes the plastic and takes a hair dryer to blow away the hair. Not a great start.
I then tell him what I want including directions to take "half off my sideburns". He seems confused by the request. I understand that English is not his first language but still. After trying to explain, finally the barber next to me tells the guy "he's asking you to trim his sideburns to half the length".
Thank you Miss barber. But apparently when he said he understood, he actually didn't. Towards the end I can tell he's sculpting around my sideburns which seems odd since I want them trimmed to half. I point this out and he said I thought you wanted the thickness trimmed. Well we finally work out what I wanted.
I could ignore all of the above, I'm not a unreasonable person but this next bit is why I'm posting.
So he's finishing up with the back and is using a straight razor all over the back of my neck. I'm no stranger to this; had it done many times.
But for the rest of the day, the back of my neck is burning. It feels like it's cut. I just chalk it up to razor burn which I don't typically get. Next morning the back of my neck is red and inflamed. And as of writing this review still is. Whatever it is it's not razor burn.
I didn't get a hot towel like they are supposed to do. If I had I'm sure it would have stung, letting me know something wasn't right. I mean I did pay $25 for the special cut and I tipped $5 on top of that all online before I even got there. So yea, a hot towel might have either alerted me something was wrong or prevented whatever the hell he did to the back of my neck.
My best guess is this, he didn't clean the straight razor from the last person. I noticed there was that clear plastic they uses for chemicals applied to the hair. I'm thinking the razor was the same and he didn't clean it. At least I hope it's something chemical and not just something I picked up from the last guy.
So now I have this red neck I keep applying aloe to. It literally looks like I have hives. So no I'm not a happy camper. Pictures of the damage are...
Read moreI usually don’t leave Google reviews, but this experience made me feel like I had to speak up. I’m a very laid-back person and not picky when it comes to haircuts—but this visit was frustrating.
I came in shortly before closing and was helped by a young barber who was polite and friendly. I won’t call out his name, but it was clear from the technique he used that he didn’t have much experience or training. The way he approached the fade made that obvious—there was little blending, uneven transitions, and a general lack of precision.
What concerned me most was that he was ready to finish and take off the cape even though the fade was clearly off. I had to stop him and ask him to take another look. That moment really stood out—it showed a lack of awareness and confidence in the work.
To be fair, I wasn’t expecting a perfect cut for $25, but I did expect something clean and acceptable. The haircut I had intended wasn’t really delivered, and even after he made adjustments, the fade still wasn’t good. It looked slightly better than before, but at that point I just wanted to leave—I didn’t want to risk more being taken off. I ended up going to another barber the next day to get it fixed.
What also made the experience less enjoyable was the atmosphere in the shop. The owner's kids were running around the entire time—sometimes even distracting my barber while he was cutting my hair. That’s not pleasant from a client’s perspective, especially when you’re already unsure about the result.
I hope this feedback helps the shop improve—especially in terms of proper barber training and creating a more professional, focused...
Read moreIf I can give this place a zero rating, I would!
I had an absolutely terrible experience. My son went in for a simple haircut with Carlos B., and what he walked out with was a disaster—uneven bangs across his forehead that were completely different from what was requested.
When I went back to address the issue, both Carlos B. and the owner, Mohamed, blatantly denied ever seeing my son or cutting his hair. This was a bold-faced lie, as my son was a walk-in who paid with a debit card. When I asked them to check their system, there it was—my card number, the transaction, and Carlos B. listed as the barber. Yet, they still tried to gaslight me.
This level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism is beyond unacceptable. Instead of owning up to their mistake and making it right, they lied to my face and treated me like I was stupid. A business that operates this way doesn’t deserve a single customer.
The owner Mahamed, said he would refund me and supposedly he did. Ask me if I ever received the refund? You guessed right, that would be a big fat NO!!
Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—go anywhere else. I wouldn’t trust this place to give my dog a haircut, let alone a human being. Absolute joke...
