Bealls Florida — Local services in Jacksonville

I went to Bealls to make a return. I just started a couple weeks ago shopping here. I've met several female employees that have been kind and helpful. Today July 15, 2021, I get a man sales person. I didn't have my receipt so he looked me up by my phone number. After that, he and I both was standing there. I asked him did he need my card he said, "no." I looked down at the reader and it was asking for my card. He pointed at the reader and said, "pay attention." He then noticed the reader was asking for my card. He said,"oh." It was his fault but he never apologized for being wrong. I am a 66 yr old women and I can't remember ever being told by a sales person to pay attention. He then asked me to push 9 on the reader. I noticed the female customer before me he asked her to push 9 like it was a part of the transaction. This guy was disrespectful and rude. Due to his attitude, I will never shop in another...

Four employees just spent over 30 minutes trying to check out my 4 shirts. It took them longer to check me out than it took me to find the shirts. None of them knew how to scan the items, remove the items they scanned twice, or cancel and restart the order. I asked them several times to try different registers but they took forever until they listened to my advice. It was bad. The guy at the register man handled my shirts and ripped holes in them trying to remove the security tags. He damaged perfectly good clothes I was going to buy. He made me LATE FOR WORK. I then asked them remove the shirts they damaged. They had to cancel the transaction and start all over again for like the third time because they didn’t know how to remove the tags or the items from the register. This is a large Beall's store. it is largely a discount store with an emphasis on clothing.

The store has multiple displays of clothes. Many of them are on sale. Typically, there is a display and the clothing items show the MSRP. A sign on the stand will state the discounted price if it is on sale.

I have found a good variety of men's clothes. There are some name brands of pants, jeans, shirts and shoes. Most of the items I have purchased here are on sale.

There is also a good selection of women's clothing.

In addition there are household items including some dishes, pillows, etc.

The store is laid out well. This one is larger than some of the other Beall's stores I have visited. It is also clean and neat and the items for sale are laid out well with enough room in the aisles to walk...
