This review is strictly regarding the online catering order service.
I placed an online catering order on Monday, Oct. 4th at 6:00 P.M. with scheduled pick-up for Wednesday, Oct. 6th at 7:45 A.M. I received email confirmations on Monday and Wednesday stating that my order had been received and would be ready at my requested location and time. When I arrived, the location (Jacksonville, AL) did not have my order in the system. What I needed was available for immediate purchase. Pierre, the employee who assisted me, was very helpful and prevented my plans for my class from being ruined. However, although my order was found in the location's email system before I left, I still had to pay full-price as opposed to the catered price due to an error on the company's side. This was my first time placing an online catering order with Jack's, and I'm disappointed. My only other interactions with this company have been three separate drive-thru purchases at the Lincoln, AL location; all of which were fine. Let me start off by saying the women who took my order were very kind and this does not apply to them. I think I waited a total of about 18 minutes to get my food, which is no big deal. Slow but understandable. As I was waiting people were going back left and right saying āmy order was wrongā , āim missing this or that, ā I want a refund. I got my food and left because I was in a hurry. No fork or utensils? Okay no big deal, accidents happen. I get down the road and start eating, and bam! No sausage in the gravy, no fried pickles in my bag, nothing I wanted. They did give me some chicken but guess what? I took a bite and spit it out because it was still raw in places. I ordered a 4 piece strips and fries snack, I drove off and decided to eat a fry,, there were no fries in the bag. I turned around, went back and told them that I didnāt get them. The girl said to bring my receipt and they would look at it. Well, they didnāt give me a receipt. I went ahead and pulled up to the window to find the same guy that had handed me my bag 2 minutes before. He didnāt speak to me, but said to another employee āshe said that she didnāt get her friesā. They dropped some in my bag and still didn't speak. By this time, there were 2 cars pulled up waiting for their order. One was there the first time that I drove through.
