The Shrimp do a great job at adding off field entertainment for the young generation of baseball fans so bring those kids. There have been some big upgrades including the right field bleachers being replaced by smaller full seats with thin tables in front and a full inside bar and standing area as well as bathrooms. I'll post more pictures tonight after sitting in them. The tiki bar went unchanged and they've added "boat gazebo" areas in left center field which look to be for parties. Over all, its a 5 star AAA baseball experience.
Note for the field organizers. That whataburger orange add in Left Center for a full inning is blinding.
"Power Alley": Is it worth the extra money? Yes, absolutely yes! This is the building and seats that took place of the grand stand bleachers in right field. Only people with passes to the space can get in there. You have your own full service bar and restaurant that is all in the A/C! The seats are out front but AC access in July will make it easier for families. I put the menu in my photos. My only negative comes in the actual seats. The top row are normal chairs but every other row is a high-top with a short back. Im a tall guy and theyre not comfortable. On the other hand, the setup allowed me to stand up, have something to lean on and not be in the way of those behind me. On the back side of the building upstairs there are bathrooms. Those bathrooms are open to anyone else butbits up 2 flights of stairs but that leads to the rear entrance/exit. Up stairs there is standing room and a place for wheelchairs to see straight down onto the field. Its a really cool addition and the seats will be especially coveted during...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRevised review - I always say it's not the mistake made that counts but the response provided. We had a hiccup during our recent visit and received a direct response from the team's GM that outlined an immediate resolution. Couldn't be more pleased and we'll look forward to revisiting the park soon. Thank you, Harold.
Original review - Park itself is gorgeous. But like the MLB, the Shrimp have an entertainment problem. Pitch clock and shorter bases does little to make a long, slow game entertaining. I wish Ken Babby would take a cue from the Savannah Bananas and add a little pizzazz. The kids area was convenient for the grass but everything beyond that was like a sad, cheap, dilapidated parking lot carnival. Kid you not, there was a Lil Tykes slide inside a kiddie pool with balls in it. Ultimate insult to injury, they charge for all these "rides". The dude running the bounce house tonight was completely not the guy for the job. We'd gotten wristbands to another area and I'd asked if they worked for the rides and he snidely retorted "what, you don't make enough money to buy your kids tickets to this?" I'll be emailing management/KB directly on that little...

The staff are absolute starsāfriendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making your visit memorable. The concessions offer a wide variety of delicious options, thereās something for everyone. The weekly beer and hotdog specials are a fantastic touch, keeping things affordable and adding to the festive spirit. I also loved the reservable section for groups, which comes with plenty of food options and makes for a perfect outing with friends or family. Itās clear the Jumbo Shrimp organization puts a lot of thought into creating a welcoming, entertaining experience.
