I love a good salad but buying all the ingredients is expensive. And, as a single person, it's hard to use it all before it goes bad. Wtbs- I was itching to visit this place and finally made it happen. I can see them being in heavy rotation for lunch breaks. There is a big salad bar right in the middle of the dining room. Full of fresh ingredients including pasta salad and chicken salad. Fresh soups, a few fruits and a huge selection of salad dressing. There is also a selection of desserts in little cups. There was banana pudding, strawberry/banana and yogurt. I hope this evolves into part of the experience. Maybe some colabs with local businesses or something more homemade. Don't get me wrong, I did eat 3 banana pudding cups. 😅But there is room for growth in this area.
All u can eat is $15. To go is $9/lb.
It's a new spot and I believe they have some big plans, perhaps for entertainment as there is a stage.

Read moreDowntown Jax just got a fresh new lunch spot, and I’m so glad we stopped in! Lettuce Eat is a weekday-only salad bar (for now!) open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM. They’re working on expanding to weekends, and I can’t wait to bring more of my family once they do.
They offer a build-your-own salad bar with super fresh ingredients, plus fruit, soup, dessert, and even a hot dog and topping bar you can add on. Everything we tried was delicious—except for the cherry chocolate brownie, which we didn’t care for. Funny enough, the table next to us said the same thing, so maybe skip that one and try another dessert option!
The entire staff was kind and welcoming, and I had the best time chatting with Beth while we were there. If you stop by, be sure to let her know Elyssabeth sent you ☺️
Just a heads up—if you don’t work downtown, don’t forget to pay the meter before heading in since parking is street-based.
We’re already looking forward...
Read moreToday the better half and I went to Lettuce Eat 1 to try the new little local spot. Hands down the freshest salad I’ve had in years except at home! I myself have an egg allergy and as I walked in they were making fresh tuna salad(with eggs), Nana(the sweetest little lady) came from the back and said hold on darlin’ I’ll make another you a small batch of your own! Out she walked in about 5 minutes with the little container of tuna salad EGG FREE! Every single thing we tried was delicious and fresh. Salads, pasta, seafood salad and soups! The family owned and operated ambiance was noticed and something to brag about. We will for sure be back...
