Krystal — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I always seem to have some kind of problem when I visit Krystal’s on Main Street and May 27, 2025 wasn’t any different. I had promised to buy my son some Krystal’s for lunch. When I entered the restaurant it was a black lady at the counter and for some reason she decided to focus on me, she said “I have already ordered, you can go up to the counter” and she pointed to where she wanted me to stand. I told the lady that I was waiting for the worker to come to the counter. I don’t know why the woman was concerned about where I stood but she seemed agitated, she wasn’t friendly. There were several people who came inside Krystal’s behind me. I noticed they stood back a short distance from me. It was a big gap between them and me. The service worker came to the counter and asked what I wanted and I said I wanted a number 1 without cheese. I paid and I went to sit at a table while I waited for my order. After I sit a while, maybe for 7 minutes, I got up and stood at the end of the counter nearest the door. The service worker asked “Do you want cheese on your burgers?” I didn’t know that she was talking to me it was several customers in the restaurant. She repeated herself, “Do you want cheese on your burgers?” I said are you talking to me? She said “Yeah, I’m talking to you!” And, I told her, “I said I didn’t want cheese on my Krystal’s” when I ordered them. The service worker handed one of the bags in her hand to a customer and she took the other bags in her hands to customers outside waiting in their car. She was kind towards me when I had first entered the restaurant but her attitude towards me changed. She served customers who wasn’t ahead of me but I didn’t say anything, I just wanted my order so I could hurry up outta there. It was a very pleasant lady in the restaurant at the time that smiled at me and touched my arm on her way out the door. When the woman behind the counter gave me my order she said “Sorry for the wait.” But, I think she was insincere, I could tell that by the tone of her voice. I looked in the bag and I noticed the size of the fries and I asked her what size were they and she said medium. I noticed that the fries looked kinda scarce… the box wasn’t filled up. I walked out the restaurant to my car and I turned around and went back in. I wanted to see the container for small fries and she showed me a small box. I said, well I might need to get my son another order of medium fries and I started to wait around but I left. Even though the worker had served several people who entered Krystal’s behind me and gave them their items… what bothered me most was she didn’t do me right with my order of fries, it was enough space in the box to shake the fries around. If you want fresh hot food go somewhere far from this place I had the unpleasant experience of ordering with Shaye I order a sackful Krystal no onions or mustard with 10 piece wings after waiting 15 minutes for my food my Krystal were not how I ordered them when I advised shaye I didn't want onions or mustard I was told with an attitude the grill is covered with onions she supposely remade them while I waited another 5-10 minutes with her and the cook laughing while "remaking" my order when I received my Krystal for the second time wrong again still with onions I left this poor excuse for a restaurant not wanting to waste anymore of my time this Krystal should be closed down the service is horrible lack management they didn’t have larger cups only small, no coke or Pepsi products icy machine always down, nets flying around, speaker for drive thur broken and they cook your food how they want to then play over it I spend $30.52 to come right home and throw my sackful away it smelled horrible looked played with if Shaye is the manager then she's a poor example of leadership because she has no respect for other people time or money I'll make my own krystals at home before I step a feet back in this hole in the wall I would strongly suggest owner to clean house wish I could give 0 stars the owner would greatly benefit from sending in a...

I order my sliders with no cheese, no onion, only extra pickles & extra mustard. They always seem to still have onions on them & some cases they still put the cheese. Also they never actually put any extra pickles or mustard, they place 1 pickle and a drop of mustard. If I order them with regular pickles & mustard and then ask for the extra on the side at the window, they tell the employee on the grill to make them plain & then they only put the pickles & mustard on the side. No Im asking for extra at the window because when I ask for them at the speaker, they dont put them on. If Im being charged for extra toppings, I expect MORE than one pickle on the sliders! If and when I ask for them on the side, I expect them on the side without any extra attitude, charge me for them, thats fine, but don't get an attitude with me because your cook cant put more than 1 pickle on a slider for whatever reason. How difficult is it to make a slider WITHOUT onions and cheese on them? Do they come frozen pre-made with these toppings on them?? Are the extra toppings coming out of the employees paychecks? Extra means MORE, so put more than one! We dont have white castle so unfortunately Krystals is about the only place around...
