Wow, I have never been spoken to so rudely in my entire life at a restaurant. Calling this place a restaurant is generous. Where do you hire your workers from? The prison downtown?
Here's the story:
I ordered 11 subs and 6 chocolate chip cookies. After checking the bag to ensure everything was there, I left and returned to my office to enjoy my lunch with those who ordered within our work group. After finishing our sandwiches, someone pointed out that Larry's had forgotten the cookies. I personally went back to the same location, Beach Blvd & St. Johns Bluff. When I finally got to the counter, I mentioned that they had forgotten the cookies I paid for in my online order. The oldest staff member behind the counter replied snarkily, "You should have checked the bag." However, as I previously stated, I did check the bag. There was a brown bag inside the larger group order bags that felt and weighed like it had cookies in it. This turned out to be pickle spears, which weren't even ordered. I responded, "What audacity you have. Maybe you should learn to follow directions and do your job correctly because I did check the bag before leaving." As I was leaving, the same gentleman said, "Have a great day," with an insincere tone and attitude.
If you want good customer service and a company that owns up to their mistakes in addition to great tasting subs, go to Publix or Firehouse where you are treated like a valued customer. I will never be going back to Larry's, and if I do, it certainly won't be to this location.
Reading many of the reviews, I see I am not the only one who has had a negative experience with the customer service here. It seems to be an ongoing problem over the last few years based on the timeline of comments. It's time to fire the staff and hire people who actually care about the customers who keep the lights on at the end of the day. This...
Read moreHad the Philly. Don't get the Philly. Okay, I got your reply mr owner. Let me clarify. I didn't get your Italian steak sandwich. I got a Philly. There was no marinara.
The service was fine. I walked up to a counter. Ordered my food, walked up five minutes later and got my food. It was average but it's a sandwich shop, not a Chili's.
The reason I wasn't happy with my sandwich and chose to not return was because the meat quality was terrible and the sandwich was very poorly put together at a concept level.
If you call yourself giant subs, make giant subs. This had less on it then an a Subway sandwich and the quality was similar. This was a shame because this place was hyped up for me before I came and I love s good sandwich.
My issue wasn't with the sandwich itself but the mediocre standard that sandwich represented. While it lacked meat, it's not like more would of fixed it due to the other issues.
So yeah, sorry I hurt your business dawg. Maybe make a good sandwich and take some pride in making...
Read moreI've come to this one 3 separate times to see if maybe it was just a bad day experience cause I dont mind those. But this place is just rough. I'm giving 2 stars because the place is always clean. The tall heavier dude is allllwwwaaayyyyyssssss texting or something on his phone. Just standing there looking at his phone in the middle of the area where they make the sandwiches. My bread had mold on it the third, and last, time I went. They forgot my pickle, no big deal, so i asked for one and instead of the short little scrawny guy putting a glove on and bringing me one, he brings out the ENTIRE HUGE PLASTIC container and says "grab one", which i did and then did not eat it because obviously he has done that before meaning random peoples hands were allllllll up in the pickles.
I will stick to the Larry's on...
