I had the most delightful experience at COOPER'S HAWK winery and restaurant. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance transported us to a charming and inviting space. Our lovely server, Marissa, went above and beyond to make our lunch truly memorable. Her attentive and warm service added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.
Now, let's talk about the food – an absolute culinary delight! The GNOCCHI CARBONARA with Pancetta, Chicken, Sage, Peas, Parmesan Garlic Cream Sauce was a symphony of flavors, blending perfectly cooked gnocchi with a rich and savory cream sauce.
I was particularly grateful for their flexibility and attention to detail in accommodating my dietary needs. They expertly crafted the ROASTED CHICKEN RISOTTO without dairy, without compromising the taste, resulting in a masterpiece on a plate that combined Sweet Corn, Peas, Shütake Mushrooms, Roasted Peppers, Spinach, Oven-Roasted Tomatoes, Stracciatella, Pesto Oil, and the delightful addition of Candied Bacon. This gesture truly demonstrated their commitment to ensuring every guest's dining experience is exceptional.
And then there was THE PRIME, a sandwich that proved to be a true indulgence. Slow-Roasted Shaved Prime Rib, Seasoned Mayo, House-Made Steak Jus, and Horseradish Cream created a combination that was incomparably delicious. Side note: this reheats well if you can’t finish it!
Our journey continued with a trio of appetizers. The CRISPY BRUSSELS SPROUTS with Cashews, Mint, Sweet Thai Chili, and Sesame-Sriracha Aioli were a crispy and flavorful delight. The CHICKEN POTSTICKERS with Sweet and Spicy Mustard, and Ginger Soy Sauce provided an explosion of flavor. The CAPRESE FLATBREAD, adorned with Ripe Tomato, Mozzarella, Red Onion, Pesto, Basil, and Balsamic Glaze, was a harmonious blend of fresh and vibrant flavors.
To complement our meal, we opted for the sangria flight. Each sangria variation – red, white, raspberry, and the standout peach – was a burst of fruity perfection. The Peach Sangria, with its refreshing taste, stole our hearts.

Read moreOk, so first off, this was my second time there. The first time was for a wine tour only, and i was very happy with their wine selection, and that trip was great. I was taken there on my birthday as a suprise dinner, i was excited to go back and eat since the wine was so good i had high hopes for the food as well. I was greatly disappointed. We waited for 20 minutes before a server took our order, we ordered everything from wine, appetizer, dinner, and desert all at the same time. The wine took 15 minutes to hit the table. For the appetizer, we ordered the wedge salad, it came dry, zero dressing. Waited 10 minutes for our server to come so we could ask for the dressing, still hadnt eaten a bite. The dressing came out fast, ate 1/4 of the salad before our steaks, chimichurri seasoned steak and a felet mignon. Both ordered at medium rare. I will say that i like a good medium rare, even closer to the rare side. The steak came out looking great, had a nice crust, i was excited. Once i cut into the steak i noticed it was tough, and difficult to cut which is odd for a felet. It was so undercooked that the center was still almost frozen. The reataurant was cold, i would say 71° or so and the steak was ice cold to the touch inside. Even for a black and blue steak it would have still been undercooked. I asked to speak to a manager, then i was told she was busy with another table. 15 minutes later she came over, i explained what the issue was and all thatbwas said was "can i get you something else" she got me a menu and left my raw steak on the table in front of me. A few minutes later she returned and asked "did you make up your mind on what you wanted" i told her i didnt want anything at this point. She took my steak and walked away. The server came over and i asked for the check. Paid for the drinks and my girlfriends steak and left. Never received so much as an apology or an explanation throughout the entire experience. Still hungry, trying to salvage the end of my birthday, we went to a fast food spot and got food that I ate at home. I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at your restaurant last night, as it was my anniversary and I was in good spirits. However, I must say that I left feeling incredibly disappointed.
We had a reservation for 7:15 pm, and I was excited to celebrate this special occasion. Unfortunately, our disappointment began when our appetizer did not arrive at our table until 8:30 pm. It was disheartening to wait so long, especially when we were looking forward to starting our meal.
To make matters worse, the steak I ordered, specifically requesting it to be cooked medium, arrived at our table well done. I immediately brought this to the attention of the waitress, who was kind and understanding. However, it took an additional 45 minutes for a replacement steak to be served. By that time, I had already finished my meal and had to ask for it to be packed to go.
Today, when I decided to enjoy the steak for lunch, I reheated it with anticipation. Sadly, I discovered that the steak was still rare, with a red center, even after reheating. This not only ruined my dining experience last night but also affected my lunch the following day.
The disappointments did not end there, as we were ready to settle the bill. Our waitress informed us that the payment center was down. It took an additional 20-30 minutes for her to return with a pen and pad to write down our card information, as the system did not start working again. As a result, we did not leave the restaurant until 10:30 pm, despite having a reservation for two at 7:15 pm.
Furthermore, I would like to mention that despite the disappointments we encountered, our waitress was truly amazing. She remained attentive and apologetic throughout the entire ordeal, doing her best to make our experience as pleasant as possible given the circumstances. Her professionalism and exceptional customer service should be commended.
