i just placed an order thru the drive thru, for my grandma and i since she wanted some and i was also hungry. i got there and asked for 2 $5 meals. paid, got the food came home. it was pouring rain outside and i got home and there was a missing mcdouble from one of the $5 meals. so i called the mcdonaldâs and told them i just got home up which takes usually 5-10 min but since it was pouring and there was traffic it was about 20 minutes ago and i was missing the mcdouble. i paused and waited for a response for a slight second and there was none i then asked if i could, may i come back up there with the receipt and receive the missing item.â they said âyes.â i was already getting a little frustrated cause it was pouring rain and i just got home and the fact i couldnât eat my food cause my grandma wasnât eating. my food would get cold so i just gave my meal to a house mate and was like hopefully i can just get a whole new $5 meal if not ill buy one but i hope that wasnât the case. i got there and and told them through the speaker box the situation she was like okay then i said i wanted to add another $5 meal since the other one wouldâve been yk cold .. i donât like confrontations especially when itâs work cause i worked in good for years and i understand how it could be. anyways she added the $5 meal and another fry but a large i even rounded up to roanald mcdonaldâs house which isnât he issue but like... anyways so a new order was set and i pulled to the next window. before i paid for the meal i was just frustrated im trying to save money and i just went for my grandma mainly now i got to the window she said an order and i said no thatâs not mine. she asked what i had and i was saying it fast because it was poring so bad i had a microfiber towel in my car just because and i was holding it mid air of my window cause rain water was just pouring in my car meanwhile she was still trying to confirm after i had told her âi have my receipt and i called and had a missing sandwich that you all said i can come back and grab and i ordered more food because mine was gonnna be cold at this point. she apologized briefly and said she didnât know she wasnât the one that took my order, and she was âŚby this time my whole left side of my body is soaked in rain water along with the inside of my car. i go to the next window surely assuming she would know i had the âmissingâ mcdouble i paid for previously and the additional add ons were for the same order. she opened the second window and said did i have the five dollar meal with a coke. i said yes but no i had a five dollar meal with a sweet tea light ice.. she said sorry thats what i meant. i said no biggie. she gave me the food and the drink along with the add ons. she said have a good day for the second time now and closed the window. i checked the bag and it was missing the mcdouble. i had to wait with my window open untill she came back and i told her i have a receipt i had a mcdouble i ordered previously and before i could finish talking she was closing the window smiling because i guess she forgot again and went to grab it. THEN i go home to eat my food and bring my grandma her meal cause all she ate was the fries and 4 nuggets while i went to get the mcdouble and i go to eat and my fries in my $5 meal looked pale and soggy like they werenât finished cooking. i tried to eat it cause im hungry and just angry at this point and it was no good. it was mushy. usually my service is good and i come here all the time really but today just made me so...
Read moreThe store at 9571 Argyle Blvd, Orange Park, FL doesn't cook their food correctly. Their Mcmuffins aren't toasted at all. They are barely warm. Its been like this for years at this location. The price of the food isn't correct on their menu board, also a "problem" they have had for years and never fixed, and they said it's "corporate" that controls the sign, and they just go by what the register tells them. It's a sub-par mcdonalds location with sub-par staff that stared at me like hunks of wood when I told them the sign was wrong. They didn't say "I'll let the manager know, " or even a little "sorry about that." "I just take the money and do what the register says." I understand the staff is mostly young people, but they don't have to be almost useless at customer service. Really? Customers point out a problem and they literally stare at us, blank faced, wordless. These are your first and primary customer contacts and they are costing you money. But I guess that's factored in for McDonald's? I definitely won't be using this location again. I hadn't been there for over a year because of these issues. I forgot for a moment, but it's solidified now, this location is junk with junk customer service and garbage food...
Read moreliterally my tummy growling in the afternoon as I was to busy this morning doing errands and shame on me I didn't eat. Yea! I see a McDonald's with an acceptable drive through line. I order my meal, the server reads the order back to me. YES! we're aligned. I drive to the first window to render payment. No smiles, no hello just the cost of my food is spoken to me. I drive to the second window as my tummy is growling with hunger and jumping with the excitement of knowing food is coming. The server repeats my order, again Yea! we are again in alignment. No pleasantries, but by this time, I know the drill. I receive my bag of food and drink and I drive off happily like a child that has received new toy. I eat a Fri and to my delight good ole Mc Donalds, the nostalgia is still there. I go to take a sip of my drink and "What the **" just like old times. My order was wrong.đ To say the least, I wasn't hungry anymore as the food was filling. The price acceptable if my order were correct. But now I remember why it has been so long since I last visited my friend Ronald McDonald and went to another establishment whom ALWAYS gets my chicken sandwich order correct literally đŻpercent...
