FRANCHISE OWNER! I would have given NO stars, but had to hit one star to get to leave this review. We are driving up to Charleston from Orlando to see the total eclipse tomorrow, August 21. We decided to stop at your McDonalds on Busch Drive for lunch to go. We went inside. Dirty and smelled bad! We ordered from an indifferent counter gal, paid and then filled up our drinks. We received no register receipt, just like the other people there standing around waiting for their food. Because of no receipts without numbers, when an order was ready the gal behind the counter had to describe the contents of the bag outloud so someone could get their food. It appeared, whether you ate in or left with your food, everyone was given their food in bags! Odd to say the least! About twenty people were standing about waiting for their orders to come out. There was an order which the lady who was announcing food in bags, never was claimmed. At the time we wondered why? We wonder no longer as shall be explained. But first, the orders coming out were not right for two guys in state construction worker uniforms and told the Announcer this. She grabbed the bags back and on delivering one of the bags to the counter, threw the bag at him! It was painfully slow between each new announcement of food completed. We stood there with a rapidly growing impatient and enlarging crowd. For twenty minutes we waited for two quarter pounders without cheese and one small fry. We were tired of waiting! My husband almost said YES to the McGriddle that no one was claiming! At that point we left, as we had no confidence we would get our order correctly before the actual eclipse the next day. We even by-passed the indifferent gal at the register. We just walked out! We have been regular McDonald customers for 54 years in many states and at least a dozen other countries. This was our worst experience...
Read more0 STARS- Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. They’re so pressed on getting cars out the window for the timer and not getting the order right or being friendly.. the first time we went, we watched as every car was told to pull up for their order. After 20 mins of watching teen girls walking from car to car (because so many were pulling up for their order) these girls were walking back and forth trying to find which car ordered what (waste of time if you ask me) have them walking all over the parking lot, we went inside after 20 mins and asked for our food and we were told it was given to someone else by accident.. okay..
The second time we went, I asked for a burger with only ketchup. Still had onions mustard and pickles, ordered a medium fry and they didn’t even give it to me. I asked for sweet tea, I got an iced coffee, glad I checked the drink too. They didn’t put ice in my sweet tea. Had to ask again. I don’t care if you get frustrated because I want my order correct that I paid for. Get it right the first time then. None of my food was hot. Fries were cold, no salt, the cheese on the burger wasn’t even melted. I literally have to sit at the window and check every single thing. I don’t care about your little timer. I care about having my order right, that I paid for and people who actually take the time to even acknowledge you exist instead of handing out a bag and not saying a thing??? How hard is it? Stop being so pressed on time and get people’s orders right. It used to be rare that my order was wrong but now Every-time I go to ANY McDonald’s , something is always wrong. Every time. I will never come to this McDonald’s again. Stop rushing sooooo much and get orders right. Hire people who know...
Read moreI placed my order at the drive through, the order was: 1 bacon egg and cheese mcgriddle, 2 hasbrowns, 2 sausage burritos and 2 large sweet teas. Before I pulled up to the window to pay the drive thru screen was correct towards this order. I always make sure to confirm this. When I pulled up to the window my order was given completely wrong. They had said 1 hasbrown. I corrected them so they proceeded to correct the order. Once I had paid for this they said you had 1 sweet tea. I also corrected this as well. The employee managing the window had the manager come over because he was confused. She then was very very rude and aggressive saying that "she did not put the order incorrectly that's what I said to her" I then told her that no the drive thru menu was correct until I got here. I paid again for the second tea while the manager was complaining to others I didn't know what I was talking about she got the order right I got home and found my order completely wrong again. I had been charged extra for 2 bacon egg and cheese mcgriddles. I forgot to check it because I was very upset over managements attitude because I was the one that caused the problem when she had put the order in. I've had issues with this McDonald's but not wanting to be a Karen I havent ever posted a review but the manager was blatantly rude and talking to the other employees in the back how I was to blame for her mistake. this experience makes me want to never come back to this location and I remind myself why I drive out of my way to go...
