I ordered ahead, waited til the app told me the order was ready, and THEN drove roughly 10 minutes to pick it up - I figured that would be enough time for my 2 item order (burger and fries) to be ready.
Well, it wasn't. It took forever to get acknowledged at the pickup counter - roughly 8-10 mins. A huge line started forming for the lunch rush and the employees I'm the back were just laughing and walking back and forth getting soda fountain drinks (and groaning/avoiding eye contact as they sashayed past the long lines for pick up and ordering.)
When I finally got someone's attention, she said "did u need to order??" Real hurriedly. Almost before u could even finish explaining that the app told me my order was ready 25 minutes ago, she had turned around and said "well, they'll get to it cuz there are other orders we need to work on." Indeed, because people who had gotten there AFTER me and ordered at the Cafe from the long line were getting their orders BEFORE me. I really like to believe that I remained patient and courteous up to the point that 30 minutes after my order was allegedly ready, they hadn't even started on it and I watched the in cafe line clear out and get their orders while I was just receiving an attitude sprinkled over a dismissive atmosphere.
When I tried to check on my order again because I didn't even see it on the "now serving" screen anymore, i tried to ask the same lady that kept walking back and forth from BOH to outside, to FOH to lie down and play on her phone, to BOH (without washing her hands and/or replacing gloves sue initially had) she dismissed me and said "sorry, I'm off the clock now, bye"
I guess I came in on a day where "kindness starts here" was also off the clock... Food wasn't great either - burger middle was undercooked, and fries were either overcooked or stale. Stay away from this...
Read moreI stopped in to this McDonald's on Atlantic blvd, Regency area, between 8:30pm-8:45pm on Thursday, 8/23/18. I almost drove past it because ALL of the exterior lights were off. As I pulled into the drive thru I saw the manager on an outdoor walk around/smoke break. I said hello and mentioned the lights were out. She said she noticed and thanked me. I ordered my 6 chicken tenders meal and happy meal for my sick son. I pay and get a bag of food inside of 4 minutes. I knew by this the tenders weren't being cooked to order. I took inventory of the bag contents while still ash the window and see they gave me HONEY MUSTARD and not HOT MUSTARD, which they always get wrong. I guess no one there chooses to READ a ticket or monitor. I took the four incorrect sauces and began to wait for someone to come back to the drive thru window. After two minutes I begin waving at employees and honking my horn for attention and finally someone waves back and didn't speak but is willing to exchange the sauce then closes the window, again saying nothing, only giggling. All items were in the bag. I always eat the fries on the way home and they weren't fresh or hot. After a12-15 minute ride I get home and discover some of my chicken tenders already have sauce on them (WHAT) and it is BBQ sauce. I had HOT mustard. So now they are recycling food. THAT IS DISGUSTING!!! I called the complaint line, who took information but did nothing and claimed someone would be in touch. Yeah, that hasn't happened either. People, lots of reasons not to eat here. Just a matter of time before their work practises make someone sick. I hope they hire people that actually care to do their job!!!! Very disappointing!! They are so rude, lazy, cant follow instructions, yet want $15 a hour🤦♀️...When I came thru for hasbrowns only and waited 40 minutes because the night crew didn't show and the whole restaurant was basically closed.🤔 So sad. Not to mention I keep hoping it would improve. I came back for a large fry and a cheeseburger, another 30 min wait to get frys that were rocks and the meat was so old, cold and hard. I just took it home and trashed it.. The girl who handed it to me looked pure broken.I couldn't bring myself to say something. . I've been using this McDonald's for years, but after the whole pandemic, it just hasn't been the same. So rude, unprofessional and unkeept. I started going to the Merrill location which isnt that much better, but it's still better then this one. I cant even imagine what the owners, GM's, shift managers and the customers are going thru.
