The Sheik Sandwiches and Subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

When you spend almost 70$ in the drive thru, to be pulled from the line to wait on your food, just for them to leave food off my order….idk feels like robbery to me. Had I not been given a hard time at the intercom before I even got to the window and was pulled out of line to wait just for them to play with my order I probably wouldn’t have even bother to write this review, because I don’t like writing bad reviews. Though they are necessary sometimes. If it’s raining and your intercom isn’t covered and your customer is having to repeat the order several times, then common sense would tell you to pull them to the window, especially being as though your drive thru runs into one of the busiest streets in Jacksonville. My car is getting wet on the inside trying to order, you can’t hear me, meanwhile traffic on Atlantic blvd is being backed up to hell. All because not only do you lack basic customer services skills, but critical thinking skills as well. I called to speak to a manager, the lady I spoke with said she was “one” of the managers. Needless to say she was far too busy engaging in friendly banter with someone else in the background to rectify the matter. The food I did receive was hot though…that counts...

This place is amazing great food and service but the girl (Kathy who mostly works drive thru but also front counter and cooks ) that works there makes the place. She’s always working hard and cleaning or doing something and is the friendliest person ever . No matter what kind of day your haven she can bring a smile to your face . She’s just so pleasant to be around . She’s been there 8 to 10 years probably she should get a raise I don’t think the atmosphere would be the same without her. She makes the place. She’s the reason we keep coming back. Absolutely love this place and the manager. Norma is the best sweetest lady I’ve ever met and the most hardest working lady I’ve ever met. She’s older, but she outwork anybody in that building she has the sweetest smile and giggle but don’t let her cuteness fool you . You get on her wrong side and you wish you hadn’t . So as long as your not acting a fool you will live this place and you will definitely come back for more whether it be for the food or just the atmosphere and the two people that make the place worth coming to anytime you’re down around Atlantic Boulevard near Regency Mall. Stop and check it out and ask for Kathy or Norma . You won’t regret...

I ordered a camel rider and there is no possible way it was fresh. It was put on the tray before I even finished processing my debit card. This is a steak pita. Was completely over spiced. It's a steak pita for goodness sake! A little salt does wonders. My theory is this was precooked at whichever time, I ordered it, and it was salted a second time to "refresh" it. This is not acceptable.

There was an elder gentleman cleaning, a short haired shorter guy in the front, and three women who I am assuming were supposed to be doing the prep, cooking and frying. The women did nothing but talk amongst themselves and when the cashier asked about fries being cooked, the obnoxiously red headed woman shrugged her shoulders and told him to figure it out and then she went back to her conversation with the other girls. Seems like the special needs guy and the older male were being taking advantage of by the women. They get them to do all the work; all the ladies have to do is reheat some steak throw it out in 25 seconds and group back up into a...
