Made a delivery order yesterday. Bought like 43 bucks worth of food. When it finally got here, I was excited, started sampling everything. I kid you not every single item apart from the white rice had a weird flavor that hit the tongue immediately. Like stale oil or mold or something. It even smelled weird when I went to throw it away. Stuff just didn't taste right. So I call, asking if there's something that can be done, if I can get a refund. This lady tells me I'd have to drive all of the food to the restaurant in order to get a refund. I'm disabled and don't drive, also seriously, that's crazy? It was a delivery order. Anyway I'm filing a dispute with my card issuer. I thought the bad reviews were tripping at first, or people just trying to get free food and being rude, but the food actually legitimately is awful and whatever lady is running the phone is mean and combative. I was extremely polite when I reported the issue. Zero stars if I could.
Response to owners reply- Girl why the hell would I expect you to come back and get it? Zero times ever is that part of the process. You food went down my garbage disposal. Every other restaurant out here and comprehend the process of a refund with a delivery order. Your food sucks. And the bit about the flavor being fine is just a lie cause you've got multiple reviews here telling you the same. I hung up on you because you told me I'd have to drive the food all the way back to the restaurant. Get your head checked. Go ahead and counter dispute idc my bank is great with this stuff, they will be told exactly what you did. 😭 And you wouldn't even need to if you were actually making money, clearly you aren't, bc like I said your food sucks and you're mean as hell. Expecting anyone to drive food back to you after a delivery order is literally insane and not a single other restaurant out here would do that. If the food isn't satisfactory it isn't satisfactory. I ordered 3 sesame chicken and when I got home to Hubert and we got the food out I realize its the wrong food. I called them and got the woman on the phone that always sits up front and she acted like I was the one that made a mistake. Says I ordered what I got. Tell me then why in the hell I would be calling them?! I go back the next day and she says "what is it you want?" Well lets think about that for a second....replace it! Well unless I have the food with me from yesterday they can't do anything. I accidentally left it in the fridge at my house in Hubert so can I send a picture to prove it didn't get eaten?....No...so what is it? Are they going to resell it to someone else after I've had it at my house for the day? I don't know about you but I don't want something from a restaurant that some random person has had and who knows what they've done to it. I want to know that my food is being freshly cooked and I'm the first customer to get it. Then the woman says she "even asked "her" and she said I ordered the sesame chicken and not the sweet and sour chicken". I said you were the only one up here so how did she hear me? Then the "her" came up (the other woman employee with curlyish hair) says "I was rolling sushi I heard you". She was there when I first walked in but then left. I'll never give these people my business again. From reading the reviews I guess I'm lucky we didn't get sick eating there as it is. What a joke. Read moreDONT BOTHER, rude, and horrible customer service! Never again will I ever go to them and I’ve been a customer with them for 2 years because I live so close. I called for the first time about an order, it tasted very old, and smelled very unusual. I spent $54.00 on Chinese for my family. The lady on the phone was extremely rude, I was very polite, she then put me on hold for 8 mins to “speak to the manager” when getting back on the phone she said “the manager said there was nothing wrong with your food”, I explained to her that I’ve never complained or had any issues with them in the past and I would’ve never just called and complained for no reason when the 3 others I was sharing the meal with also agreed they were terrible. Everything else I ordered was great. She then told me they could remake the food. I didn’t want anymore beings the egg rolls had already put a nasty taste in my mouth from the first bite. Spent almost $16 ($15.50 to be exact) on shrimp/pork rolls and they seemed like maybe the cabbage or something was old. She then told me I had to bring them up there to them and then I could get a refund. So that’s exactly what I did. I get there no type of apology, no acknowledgement of the fact that something was off, just terrible customer service. I’ve never been treated like that from a Chinese food restaurant before. & they will no longer have my service or my friends and family again. I hope the manager reads this and changes the way he treats his customers when there is a problem...
