Seriously, this particular Panda Express fails in comparison to the other ones I have been too. I'm truly NOT a complainer but after 3 times I feel like I should share in hopes that this store sees this.. Once I came for lunch at 12:15 pm in the drive-thru and had to wait 20 minutes for broccoli beef. I had a 15 minute drive back to work! So I barely made it. Unacceptable when that is one of THE most popular menu items to not have ready at LUNCH TIME! I called to tell them how it was absolutely terrible service to keep me waiting for that amount of time at the window and not tell me when I ordered thay it wasn't ready, the manager didnt even offer any sort of real apology for that inconvenience happening, just nonchalantly said "oh well we were out they were really having to cook it..." okay great but let a person know that when they're on a limited lunch break before we waste our time in a drive-thru line! A second time, we went inside to get food to-go, the portion for the to-go box they gave compared to the portion they would give for the plate there were vastly different. The 3 entree ordered to-go basically equated to the 2 entree for dining inside. Nuts! That kind of thing should be consistent!! And now at dinner time I just went thru the drive-thru yet again to get broccoli beef and another meal.. the broccoli beef I had to wait on. The saving grace of this visit was that the girl working the window offered me a complimentary drink while waiting, even if it was after about 5 minutes. But nonetheless, I'm not the only one who thinks this Panda Express is lacking. And I truly hope management or the owners see this and other reviews to maybe change how things are run. Read moreSo I’m not a super picky person but Iv been to this Panda Express multiple times and have been multiply disappointed each time. 1st bad experience was about 30 minutes before closing time and I was going to go in to get an order to go and their were 3 employees sitting in a booth in the lobby instead of behind the counter working when one of the girls saw me getting out of my car to come in she rushed to the door and locked me out before I could come in and told me I had to use the drive thru (very rude) didn’t give me any explanation as to why and I pointed to the lobby hours on the door but she still told me to use drive thru. So I used the drive thru and waited forever I’m not sure why because i was the only customer at about 9:00 when they close at 9:30. The next occasion Iv noticed they don’t serve the same things here in Jacksonville that they serve at Panda Express everywhere else like the pot stickers and milk teas (my favorite things one Pandas menu😒) always ticks me off. The 3rd dissapointment was also another time before closing at 9:15 when the doors were locked 15minutes before closing time needless to say I went to bed hungry that night. The next irritation is that nothing is consistent at this branch. Seriously it sucks. The food is never made the same way twice like they can’t follow the recipe and add things to it. And I’ve tried to keep a regular order but nothing is ever the same seriously not sure what the deal is. On one occasion I ordered chicken mushroom and steamed veggies and I have no idea what I got cause it’s not what I’ve gotten in the past the mushrooms were cold and raw and their was a whole lot of cabbage in the veggies that was never included before. Read morePoorly managed kitchen staff is this locations downfall. Food is rarely fresh and often you end up with the scraps from the bottom of the hot holding or waiting for a new batch. On more than one occasion the lack of communication between the wok line and the serving staff has been obvious. Most recently on a Saturday night it took 15 minutes to get through a drive thru line. EVERY car in front of me and behind was parked to await our orders. After waiting another 10 minutes I went inside to ask the status of my order and was asked if I was made aware when I ordered that it would be a 20 minute wait for teriyaki chicken. I said no but I'd already been waiting longer than that so it shouldn't be much longer. No he replied we are about to start cooking it now so 20 MORE minutes. That would've made my wait time 45+ minutes total from start to finish. Frustrated I just got substitute orders instead. All of this could be avoided with proper communication between the line and servers taking orders. I've worked every position in similar wok cooking restaurants including K.M. and with proper management and communication situations like this can be remedied.
