Tonight my family had an emergency. My mom fell and broke her foot. We had just left the hospital, and decided to stop by Whataburger. When we arrived, I ordered two cobb salads but no tomato, and no carrots. The manager Mr. Cruz, got on the head set and let me know that they were out of the salad mix and only had the prepped ones, and unfortunately I am allergic to carrots and tomatoes as well. I actually appreciate the fact that this gentleman took the time out to be honest and not risk my health by just picking those out. He then went to the back to check and see if he could possibly find any and he did!! I had no issue with them being out, I was going to just order something else but this gentleman took the time out of his day too think about his paying customers. Then when I had drove to the window too pay for my food, after I paid for it they realized I was only rung up for one salad, he fixed it and gave it too me anyways. I really do appreciate the kindness that was shown too me and my mom tonight. You hardly see that kind of attitude and kindness around here. I was horrified when the young lady began screaming at my confused dog. I had to walk a good distance to get something to eat and couldn't leave my dog in my car. When we get to the lobby I went to grab him, but it's not everyday I have to walk and he doesn't know he's not allowed. I was ordered to go outside and I went, after handing the manager $20 and asking him politely to make me 3 sausage bobs to go please. Yes, I was dirty, and yes my dog was too happy to be on a field trip. But the tone and manner of that young lady has me so upset that I doubt it will be just one review. TREAT every person with respect ma"am. BROWN, gay, Homeless, black, CLEAN, straight, Muslim. All people should be spoken with the same greeting and without the eye roll and disregard you had for me. Read moreMy son and I walked in. He lives in Alabama and had never had Whataburger. He was excited as was I. The older lady at the register was arguing with someone on the phone. She was rude and was obviously bringing her home life to work and it showed. She scolded me because I asked for 2 extra sauces at the end of our meal but saying, "I can't keep giving you free sauces!" I thought that I had paid for the first 2 and was at the counter to pay for 2 more. I had no idea that she didn't charge me. I paid for 2 more sauces, got my carry out bag and we left. If I'm not mistaken, her name tag had crew leader or the like on it. Wow! This is a crew leader. Management needs to train and inform the employees on how to provide acceptable customer service.
