Oh Sake House 2, where do I start???? Well first off, my daughter and I had a craving for sushi so I told her that Sake House 2 would be a good place to grab some( she's visiting from out of town) and since I had recently dined there for lunch I knew it would be a great place for her to experience and boy, was I sadly mistaken. We arrived around 7:15 and quickly placed our order. I already knew what I wanted lol. 7:45 no food!!!! 8:00 no food!!! Now keep in mind it's only the 2 of us and they only have about 6 other tables, so my daughter waived down the server and finally 8:06 our food arrived. My order was not what I wanted or expected so I requested to exchange it. The waiter brought another person out and she stated that my order correct, I said ok well can I please have what I'd like? They then brought out another person that offered me a discount, because he said that he remember serving me before and how nice I am I stated that I didn't want a discount, I just wanted my sushi??? It was only a 6 piece roll $14??? Meanwhile my tab was over $70 because we also added a to go order! The solution I expected was to simply have the correct item I wanted. They told me I'd need to reorder it ( pay full price) There I sit STUCK with sushi that I didn't want and still hungry especially after waited almost 1 hour to be served! I didn't make a scene, although was highly upset. I just paid the check (declined the discount) and I told them that I'd never come back again. The fact they were willing to lose a repeat customer over a $14 entree and get a bad review is mind blowing to me. I am a business owner and I would never treat my customers this way. DO BETTER SAKE HOUSE 2 or NOT

The sushi was good. It was my second time at this restaurant. My first time was in July for my birthday. That time it was just mediocre at best, and one of my friends had taken me to treat me for my birthday. We were rushing to a concert so we only ordered two rolls, but for some reason it took them over 20-25 minutes to get that out, then it took forever to get anyone to even check on us so that we could ask for the check, so my friend had to actually get up and search for one of the servers. On the second visit, I went a couple of weeks ago with a group of friends after church. I was a bit annoyed with my waitress, who seemed to be annoyed because she didn't like that I asked her about the rolls, then she couldn't explain any of the speciality sushi rolls outside of the basic ingredients listed. I did see some of the other presentations of sushi at my table, and I was impressed with the creativity in presentation, which I have not seen in my two visits. I did order two rolls, but for some reason they bunched one of my rolls with two others at my table since they ordered the same item. I didn't mind that, but I would have preferred to have my own platter/presentation. Instead I had to keep reaching over to get mine, and they never gave us our own plates. Eventually I asked for my own plate. I waited for a while for a refill on my water. Little nuisances like that made my experience not so great again. It seems like they only have the same two servers running the restaurant when I went both times. Still, the sushi was good.

From the silent traveler to all of you welcome. This place is a great place for lunch and I'm quite sure for dinner as well while I had a chance to walk around the lovely downtown area I stumbled upon this place and I'm glad I did. They offer a very great lunch special and the quantity for the price you're getting is wonderful I highly recommend this place inside and out. The atmosphere was great the decor of the place was great the hostess and the staff beyond anything I would expect. The food is really good I highly recommend this place. And while you're there you might as well take him some sake if you can. It is during lunch so I hate for you to mess up during work hours. But you get a great size portion for the price you're getting at lunch I almost thought I was getting a dinner portion how nice the size was. When I'm back in town I must go back over there for dinner but lunch is definitely going to be my spot. From the silent traveler to all of you, be well, be safe be positive.

The food was fine, but the sheer lack of decency toward a fellow human made my child and I sick. We are going into a 30-something degree night & a lady came in with an insulated cup asking for hot water. She had a sleeping pad with her that indicated she would be sleeping in the winter cold. The man made up a fake charge to avoid giving her the water that would likely keep her from freezing tonight. Another table covered the charge for the hot water. The entire wait staff then stood in the cashier station directly next to my daughter and myself talking about her and making fun of her until she left, which made my daughter and I extremely uncomfortable. Then as soon as the lady left, the wait staff made a big production of it by taking a bottle of Febreze to where the lady sat, went to the table that paid for the water and “explained” to them that the lady was “just looking for free stuff,” and then continued to talk about her amongst themselves in front of guests, this time including the sushi chefs. All this with less than 3 weeks until Christmas. The entire staff should be ashamed of themselves & I sincerely hope that they never end up in a situation where they need a hot cup of water to keep themselves from freezing while they sleep outside in the winter. It was sickening to watch them treat another human being with such disregard and total lack of empathy or compassion. They seem to forget that they are 1-2 paychecks away from being in her shoes, and they should feel grateful that they get to go another week without having to beg for hot water to survive. If they choose to act in such a repulsive manner in the future, keep their terrible, inhumane behavior out of the sight of guests bc it was not cute or...
