For those of you working in downtown Jacksonville, you should definitely check out A CUT ABOVE SALON for a haircut.

Bottom line, they had everything that I needed:

Convenience. I didn't have an appointment and yet they took me in less than 3 minutes. Also it is centrally located and just a quick walk for anyone who works near The Landing.

Quality. Brian (the owner) has been been cutting hair for 20 years. I am very pleased with the haircut I received (and this was just my first visit!)

Friendly Staff. Brian and his receptionist were also very friendly. I felt welcome from the moment I walked in!

Overall. Very Impressive! I won't be going anywhere else for a haircut...

Don't make the mistake of "NOT" going here. Talk about a cut above "Renee" is just that. She has to be the least lazy stylist I've even seen and since I managed a salon for 13 years I would know. She's like a ninja with shears, she's fast, precise, professional, and personable. The salon is super clean and in a great downtown location in the Wells Fargo Building. Yasmine was AMAZING! I did not know quite what I wanted and she gave me the most gorgeous new haircut. LOVE it, loved her. She was professional, patient, fantastically knowledgeable (I asked her a bunch of hair questions), incredibly skilled and really nice on top of all that. So happy!
