We've been to numerous "authentic" taco stands in Jacksonville throughout the years and have always been disappointed. We were not disappointed by Taqueria Paso! Ordering was simple, food came out super fast and was absolutely delicious. Located on beach Blvd in a church parking lot with spacious seating and good lighting. We got the shrimp tacos, steak tacos and nachos con carne (pork). Shrimp tacos lacked pico, cilantro or any toppings aside from a few grilled onions, simply three cooked shrimp on corn tortillas. I work at an apartment community, and we had Taqueria El Paso scheduled to serve our residents on an evening from 5-8PM. They not only didn't show up, but when I messaged them directly to ensure that there wasn't a message we may have missed from them regarding the cancellation, they never responded.
