Update: I couldn't just give up and I learned what is great on the menu and I stick with it. Get the beef tender feast, it's consistently great. The meat is always tender, the grilling is perfect. The chocolate cake is another great choice, the icing is like smooth fudge.

Original review: The lamb in the gyro was greasy, bloody and devoid of traditional Greek gyro flavors. The chicken was properly cooked, but it was also missing any sort of flavor. I mean it was completely lacking in flavor that wasn't just plain grilled chicken. No salt, no pepper, certainly nothing Mediterranean inspired.

The true crime here is tzatziki sauce itself. The reviews here claim it's made fresh but it's so poorly crafted that it ended up completely ruining the wraps. Go to Publix and buy the stuff in the chilled veggies aisle, any of them are better than what you'll get here. The sauce was so thin and runny that the bread turned into a disgusting mush within two bites and it was also lacking in the traditional flavors that people love (yogurt, cucumber, dill and lemon). How they could screw this up is beyond me, it's the name of the restaurant after all.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the ruffled chips are a strange choice for a place that promotes itself as fresh and healthy. It's a side to your sandwich, but it's not really a side, so you'll be pestered again to pick another side item.

It's 3:35pm on Mother's Day, 2024. A family of 3 trying to beat the crowd looking forward to a delicious, easy in-and-out dining experience at Taziki's, especially since we had such a great first experience a couple months ago ordering from this location using UBER EATS.

Two words -- BIG mistake.

It took an hour to get our food in spite of the restaurant being almost completely empty of customers. We were told AFTER waiting for over 45 minutes that they were working on a catering order. Great, however, TELL your customers that BEFORE you let them order, pay (with tip), and wait THAT long.

The restaurant manager came by after and did not apologize once for the lengthy delay on our food and responded with, "we're working on a catering order." Even when the manager went to use the restroom for a decent amount of time, the manager didn't stop to reassure us, or even show concern about our long wait time.

Ridiculous customer service. Will NOT be back no matter how good the food was. I will also add that nearby tables had half eaten food that didn't get cleared off the entire time we were sitting there waiting for our food.

Right before we left a waitress walked over and placed two $5 gift cards on our table that barely cover the tip. No thanks, we left them behind.

Uber Eats delivery was much faster and more pleasant than what we received today!!

We have always loved Gyro sandwiches so we were thrilled to "discover" this restaurant, which has apparently been around for awhile. We had never even heard of this chain restaurant. I DOUBT THAT I'LL RETURN, though. I found it insulting that the clerk who took the order said, "fill in the tip amount and sign". When a customer has to order at a counter, rather than with a wait-person, it is a FAST FOOD restaurant and tipping should not be expected, and NEVER requested. When we got our food, I asked if we could have extra taziki sauce and was told that there would be an extra fee which I had to pay for before they would bring it. We were first time customers so you'd think they'd make a little extra effort to please us. I can't believe they would charge for a little extra sauce but if they do, you'd think they'd let you slide so you could enjoy your hot food rather than go up to the counter, wait in line, pay, and wait again, while the food gets cold. The final straw came when I got home and found that they emailed me a receipt even though I NEVER GAVE THEM MY E ADDRESS. This is creepy and an invasion of my privacy.
