I reserved a ham and turkey for thanksgiving almost 2 weeks in advanced. I had not paid for it as I always pay when I pick it up ( I have ordered a ham every year from this location for over 10 years ). When I went to pick up my order today I was told that they only had orders for those who have pre paid. According to the woman at the store they had a high volume of walk ins and had sold everything except what they had reserved for the people who had prepaid there orders. This is a poor way to run a business what was the point in me coming in and reserving / pre ordering a ham if your not going to hold my order and just sell to anyone walking up the day of pick up. This store and there poor management has ruined my family's thanksgiving this year. I have been buying from this store by pre ordering and paying when I pick up for years and years and years and this is the first time they have ever had an issue, however the issue they had was unacceptable. I do not know if its under new management or not but regardless if it is or not there franchise should be removed and sold to someone who knows how to properly run a business. Read moreI have been a fan of this brand for a long time. I recently moved to the Southside and this is the first time I have ever visited this location. I started my calling to ask about offerings and location. The service I received on the phone was exceptional - he was very friendly, patient with my questions, and made suggestions and mentioned specials. I drove to the location and upon entering I was welcomed with a pleasant aroma and environment that just said sit down and stay a while. They were extremely knowledgeable about the various products and took the time to explain the specific differences in the products and paid close attention to what I was looking for. She helped me get exactly what I needed and thanks to her, my dinner was a success. She also noticed my logo on my short and made me aware of catering and options for sliders,etc that I wasn't aware of. I would recommend this company to ANY business or individual looking for great food and excellent customer service. I have nothing by great things to say about them, because I haven't received customer service of this level in a really long time. I will definitely be returning...
Read moreI RESERVED a small ham for pickup today. I arrive and was told the cheapest ham was $93.00! "But I reserved a $30 - $40 ham!" She said they had a lot of people come in without reservations so they bought all the smaller hams. So what's the purpose of making a reservation?? She had no concept of customer service or appreciation. The attitude was - So what, take it or leave it... as she didn't care at all that Honey Baked Ham Company lack of organization had ruined a planned family event. It so unsettling where we are headed and .
