The fact that I was served disgusting, smelly, old & moldy cheese that almost me barf when I bit into, was actually not the worst part. Things happen, i can’t judge them from what could’ve been an accident. But for them treat me the way i was treated as if i was unconvincing them for bringing my order back was truly astonishing. At no point did the woman in the front ask me what was wrong, she asked what was wrong with meat, which I answered, I do not know, I did now bite the meat, the cheese in all the food has a very, very strong smells & is clearly not good. She asked what else did you order, I responded just that. She then counted the baliadas & began getting money from the register. Mind you, I have not asked for a refund, I simply brought it back, but ok. She then folds some money, & hands it to me. Dumbfounded & honestly lost for words at her ineptitude I asked what she was handing me , as I grabbed the money & unfolded it to count it. It was $44. I told her, I paid $59. She asked what else did you, I got two drinks also, she condescendingly says well there you go. To which I obviously ask, well how much is a soda? Instead of answering me, she grabs a calculator & shows it to me & begins to type. I interrupt her show & ask her why she has to do this instead of just answering my questions to how much a soda is. She snaps at me & tells “the sodas have different prices! IDK WHAT SODA YOU GOT!” I am literally speechless, I ask, well I don’t know that why don’t you ask me what sodas I got? She grabbed the money from the counter & went back into the register, took out 60 & said here here are you happy now? Honestly one of the most disrespectful & dumb employees I have ever dealt with. I will obviously NEVER return, & do not recommend any one patronize such ineptitude. Banana soda...
Read moreI drive past this all the time, and if that's you too, you have got to stop by and try the food.
My wife and I had the carne asada and the pescado frito (fried whole tilapia). As the pictures show they give you a lot of ensalada (shredded cabbage) on top of the dish along with pico, beans, and plantains on the side. It was really good.
Apparently the baleadas are really popular, because that's what everyone who was ordering was getting. And it was very authentic and popular with people of the culture (that's a way I know that it's authentic and good. If everyone who is going to a Honduran restaurant is Honduran or Central American, then it's good and authentic).
This place is good. The food is great! Just...
