I came to celebrate my son's 14th birthday at Top Golf with to Competitive boys wanting two compete on a driving range and mini golf. Friends told me that the service was Platinum and we would be impressed. They were wrong. On Sunday the 8th about noon the front desk told Us there was a 2 hour wait. No Problem. Being mostly blind, I asked for a pamphlet on how everything works. I was told they don't have anything and to go online. I explained to them both that I am blind and disabled that I don't have a computer to go online , could she help me someway else. She said No again and insisted that I go online again. So the boys played some Mini Golf & I gotta drink and explored the place. After I got a drink I went to the 1st floor and discovered the entire 1st floor was completely empty. A 2 hour wait for what with employees standing around doing nothing hiding on the 1st floor. I was explained that they were short staffed. There was a lot of staff running around doing very little. Back in my day ,my boss would have divided us up equally for the amount of Bay's we had and we would have got that money, not let it leave out the door. People were walking away at the front door with 134 empty bay's If 134 bays @ $45 hr and 12 hrs a day and each Bay only sold $100 in food in 12 hrs. There is a $10,000 loss on the 1st floor per day closed. Hire me to save you money. Seriously... I sat in the bar and watched TV for awhile. I watched the bar staff clean table after table, But they continually use the same rag for almost an hour .They did not rinse it out. Each one brought it back to the bar station dirty They would spray the tables down with disinfectant and just smear the food around until it was gone and on the floor and walk away. Then Ben came and led us to Bay 216. The floor was dirty and sticky food on the seat & table ,I had to clean the table and chairs myself. I watched Ben walk back and forth through a puddle in the main Isle with the other employees doing the same for over 30 minutes and not one employee cleaned it up. When my time at that Bay was done we were moved to Bay 204 to the exact same thing. The table was dirty, the floor was sticky, food on seats, but Alisa V did clean the computer. She took my food order and never came back. The machine ran out of balls but Ms. Abbey was super awesome and put some time back on the clock for us, and she even fixed the raw chicken I was served promptly. The AAA award goes to Shawn M. AA -Shayna A -Justin HM-Abby These 4 people were great and totally awesome . They deserve a raise for running the show. The front entrance staff and the front desk staff, definitely needs some work and team building skills . My best Mr.Colson PS. Mgmt ,you are more than welcome to contact me. I believe that when you've done a good job you deserve to be at least recognized, mostly rewarded and sometimes promoted accordingly. The rest just needs...

Introduction: Team building activities play a crucial role in fostering camaraderie, enhancing communication, and promoting collaboration among team members. In this essay, I will recount a team building experience at Top Golf, where our team enjoyed appetizers, drinks, and engaged in competitive golf while brainstorming business ideas. Read moreWe've been to "Top" Golf several times. Never knew they had a bottom floor until we showed up this evening to celebrate my son's birthday and my Mom who was in town visiting from England. We reserved ahead of time since it was a special occasion and we wanted to make sure we could get in while she was in town. We showed up and they told us our bay was on the bottom floor. We proceed down and realize you literally are level with the course. There's no "TOP" about it. We go back up and ask if there's an alternative bay to be told they were fully booked and didn't have any other slots. We tell them we're okay waiting, but again was told there's no other slots at all for the rest of the night. I asked if they can move us with another reservation. Still no. So I asked the guy if we can take it down to just 1 hour or cancel to be told "no", we had to do that 24 hours in advance. Oh, but so graciously was offered a "free round of miniature golf" which we politely declined. At this point there was clearly nothing we could.
We started the game and realized what a total waste of time (and money) this was. Based on our location and having zero height / air space we could only aim for 1 hole realistically. And the poor kids couldn't even come close to getting it into there. And to make matters worse, the course was so full of golf balls that every single ball we hit just bounced off 12 other balls before going absolutely nowhere-near-the-hole since it had now changed direction. At a higher level you avoid the majority of those balls since you can go over them, and the kids use the air time to give them more power and get further out. It was a joke. And an absolute waste of time.
We went back up after 5 minutes of us all being utterly bored and asked to speak to the manager who gave us the same run around but finally agreed to refund us. If we had walked in I totally understand if that's all you have left, but if we reserved in advance why were we given such a crappy bay? And why were we unable to be moved with someone else? They claim it's "personal preference" but evidently it's not when they didn't want to give anyone else such a crap spot. The bottom bays should be substantially cheaper since that is not the "TOP Golf" experience.
We showed up to celebrate a special occasion and play TOP Golf. If we wanted to just hit balls into a field (that needed clearing up) we would have played regular golf or miniature golf and had a lot more fun doing so with more options of where we could hit the ball into. Never again. Thanks for wasting our evening and ruining our...
