I haven't been to a Five Guys in YEARS because I always hated the wait, no matter how far in advance I placed the order. I had a craving for some good fries and decided to give them another shot. I ordered online - one large fries, a grilled cheese with a 1/3 lb beef patty added and a milkshake. I've heard people say you have to try their grilled cheese burger and that's how to order it. Things have changed since I last ordered, you can now tell them "You're on the way" and "you've arrived." I used those functions and when I got there, I saw like five people waiting on orders. Even though online it said my order would be ready at 7:55, I waited until 8:20 to arrive. I figured it still wouldn't be ready so I got into my car and went to the Publix in the same shopping plaza. I purchased two things, drove back, went inside, and my order STILL wasn't ready! (They said they were waiting on fries.) Once the fries were done and in the bag, they gave me the food and THEN proceeded to start making the shake! I don't know WHAT is up with their order of doing things, but it really frustrates me when I order so far in advance. The food was good - their fries are great and they always put extra in the bag. I included a photo so you can see just how many extra fries you get. You can add unlimited toppings to the shake and burger for no extra cost which is nice. It was remarkably clean inside and they offer free Peanuts as you wait. I just hate...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I make it a point to come to this location even though there's one closer to us. We've been coming to this location for years...the reason being? James P. Not only does this man have the best customer service I've experienced anywhere. He's always super friendly, smiling, upbeat and positive. I've never been in here and not seem James have a smile on his face and singing. He also puts his own flare on repeating back our orders keeping it funky and fresh! I know people say things like this guy or that girl deserves a raise, but truly James needs a raise and promotion! Tonight while we were visiting every person that came in before and after us got served and we just kept waiting figuring there was a mix up and James came to our table to our table to inform us of the situation and sincerly apologize. Just taking that small amount of time just added to how much we already know he really cares about his job! James will continue to be our reason to visit this location I hope he becomes yours!...
Read moreI love 5 guys but was very DISAPPOINTED. Although I waited 32 minutes from order to receipt of food, this wasn't the biggest disappointment. While waiting, I watched a potential employee come I. For an interview which appeared was scheduled in advance. A team member told him to get a drink, they may need to do the interview a little later or another day and wait since they were swamped with orders. About 5 min later, a different Five Guys employee yelled that they would have to do the interview another day. The prospective employee said he drive 40 min. There was a big sign on the door indicating 5 guys needed employees was a great place to work. It soured my experience for 5 guys and I won't go back. There was no compassion nor professionalism when they didn't respect that person's time. I asked an employee later if they thought that person would vote back and work there. She said probably not and I told er I wouldn't. The team was working hard to feed people but were very disrespectful to...
