I wish i could give less than one star. I hate that i had an experience like this, i love target! However how i was treated in the 10 minutes i was at this location was awful. So i bought an item at the San Jose store on 12/03/16 (two days ago). It wasn't the item i needed when i got home, so as i was running errands i came across this target. Now my item still had tags, was not open and I had the receipt. I had just returned another item at the San Jose because it was not the thing i needed. Since they did it i figured it wouldn't be a problem. Now i walked in and instantly was greeted with attitude and eye rolling. She informed me what i was doing was ' illegal ' whenever i just did the same thing at the other store. She told me to move over so she could help the next guest that she'll call the manager. Mike (the manager) walked over and spoke to the guest service lady, looked at me and said 'we can't do that here, it's against the law'. I told him the other target did it and his reply was 'they must not know the law, they shouldn't have done it'. I said it didn't make sense and he started yelling and cussing at me telling me to leave the store. I was very nice when i first walked in regardless of the woman's poor attitude. I was stunned. Absolutely stunned. Not once did i raise my voice or even have an attitude. Mike was yelling, throwing his hands up and swearing like it was his second language. Ā Ā Ā Read morewent to this target yesterday, 5.19.2023 around 515p to exchange my CO2 canister for my soda stream; when you purchase the soda stream, their exchange policy is listed on the box and on their website and it also lists the stores which can do the exchange which is target; I have had this sodastream for almost a year and have had no problems exchanging it at various targets and bed/bath/beyond; due to convenience, i went to this location to EXCHANGE the empty cartridge; NO ONE in that store was even vaguely aware of how this simple exchange was supposed to work; two of their employees refused to exchange the bottle; they told me I was wrong, that I was returning the bottle and I couldn't get a new bottle until I came back with a receipt; the dumbest thing I've heard since I've owned my sodastream!!!!!! I kept trying to explain the process to your staff and they only looked at me like I was the dumb one and refused to exchange; I have already called your corporate office to explain my issues with this store; I also went back to the Target on Beach Blvd and GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!! I was able to go into the store and EXCHANGE the empty soda stream bottle with NO PROBLEM in less than a minute; your staff is less than intelligent at the Town Center store, obviously not trained in your processes and totally wasted an hour of my time yesterday in that I had to battle traffic on beach blvd at 530p to do something that should have taken less than 5 mins in your store;...

I had a refund for $64.15 I see on my bank statement it was refunded and then charged again the next day. I sent proof of that and she said oh wow this is weird the only way that can happen is if you physically bring in your card to recharge Well I didnāt at all so that is concerning She calls me back today and tells me that it was voided (after arguing with me that there is not way it can be taken back from my account on their end without my card) and told me it was placed on a gift card that was given to me which is not true then she tells me itās a card ending in a number which is absolutely not my card number and if she found the transaction she would know this!
