Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I want to start by saying this hands down is the best Zaxbys. My husband and I and of course our sweet doggie go to the Zaxby's probably five times a week. We go here for more than just the good food but the exceptional service we get from the people who work there. They are so polite they're always wearing a smile on their face they go above and beyond when doing their job which in this day and time is rare to find people who care about their job and who are Pleasant while doing their job. They're always so kind to us they remember us they always wave and smile and say hi to us every time we show up there. We go through the drive-thru so that's all we can review on but if there as great inside as they are working the drive-thru window it would be an amazing experience as well. I definitely recommend this Zaxby's. I hope the management that reads this recognizes the wonderful workers they have and appreciate what they bring to the table. We go there between 11:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon so if you go during those times you're sure to get great service. I'm sure you can get great service at any time at this location our experience is between 11 and 4:00. We would rather have great service with decent food any day of the week than to have great food with horrible service. Something about having bad service makes everything else seem unpleasant . When you go through the drive-thru tell him the Joneses sent you tell them you heard they make great well done fries they'll know who you're talking about and they'll never forget who you are either. Also want to state the food is better than just okay it's as good as the service which is more than great. Definitely would recommend if you like Zaxby's to drive to this one even if it takes you a little while...

Went to Zaxby's located in Jacksonville near NAS Jax base on my lunch break. My experience was horrible. I ordered my food to go. When my # was called I realized that I the cashier didn't take my order correctly. I told her that I ordered the wings and things and this is only wings. The manager say well I need to charge you the difference I said you will have to run my credit card for the $1-$2 difference. Even though I felt like if it was the cashier's fault then they shouldn't change me the difference. But I didn't mention it bc free wasn't the goal. The cashier was very nonchalant and unapologetic. When I originally placed my order I asked for well we'll done chicken & tenders. I reminded the manager it should be cooked well well done. He said ok, my food was ready almost immediately I checked it I said I asked for well done chicken please cook it a little longer. The manager comes to me and asks what the problem now I asked the chicken & tenders weren't well done. They were exactly how they usually cooked which is why the order was ready immediately, the manger told me that at Zaxby's they don't cook chicken well we'll done so next time don't ask for well we'll done. I was very disappointed bc Zaxby's has never told me not to request well done chicken, I even tried to explain that their wings were huge so just a little longer please.... I used to love Zaxby's. I went to Zaxby's and waited in that long line that was wrapped around the building to the point of people leaving out the drive thru couldn't get out because of the long line. I ordered a large basket of fries the biggest basket and received a small. I also ordered the nibbler combo with the chicken fingers dip in sweet and spicy sauce and there was nothing but a tiny squirt on each, with a grilled cheese kids meal. I picked up the sandwich and bit it to show my 2 year it was tasty as he's a picky eater and as I was handing it to him I noticed hair grilled into the grilled cheese sandwich 🤢. I was totally discussed and freaked out as I am pregnant and I bit the sandwich that had hair grilled into it, needles to say I'd lost my appetite! I should never have to constantly check my food for safety and sanitary issues as I, like others, expect those measures to be implemented and practiced at all times!
