I was at this restaurant today. I watched the first person making subs make a meatball sub for the customer ahead of me. He proceeded to get meat sauce all over the fingers of his gloves. He then reached into a provalone cheese container to get cheese for that customer. He took their pieces of cheese off the pile he grabbed and threw the rest back in the container with meat sauce all over the cheese. I found that rather gross!
So i ordered my meatball and tuna subs. He didnt change his gloves. He still had meat sauce all over his fingers. So now both of my subs have meat sauce on the bread. Even my meatball sub. If i wanted meat sauce on my meatball sub id ask for it. I find that gross! So he starts to build my meatball sub. Again he reaches into the now American cheese for me to grab cheese. Still has meat sauce on his fingers. He then throws the extra back in the container covered in meat sauce.
I told the people working behind the counter that i found that gross that he wasnt changing his gloves and getting meat sauce all over the cheese for the next customer. They didnt even bat an eye. They kept building subs like i said nothing. They continued to use the meat covered cheese for the customers after me. He didnt change his gloves either. No effort at all to fix the situation.
I find this to be very unexceptible! This is cross contamination! This could be very offensive to a person who does not eat meat! Meat sauce on their sub? You really need to have a chat with the workforce...
Read moreI'm not one to complain, but these past two years at Milton Ave Subway they hire questionable people. I don't order there often because of my experiences but I go back in hopes it was just a bad day for workers and maybe they haven't been trained properly. Tonight, I ordered over the phone, the woman who took my call sounded drunk. I repeated my order loud and slowly and had her repeat back. That was accurate. I order 3 subs, very simple. One had mayo drenching the entire sub and soaking through the paper, luckily the kids didn't mind that. The other 2 were all mixed with ingredients on different breads. At the pick up window, I asked to add 2 cookies, she wasn't happy about that. I called when I got home, about the subs. The young lady already had an attitude answering the phone, not welcoming at all. When I told her what my complaint was, she stated "well what was wrong with it? You're gonna have to bring it back here then." Knowing that wasn't the correct response, I told her I'd be there in 5 minutes. "Mm, mkay." After that, I just decided not to go. I won't be returning my business there. The other times the employees looked drugged out and most certainly don't look thrilled...
Read moreUnbelievable I always come here and now I will not be coming back. I made an online order and came to the window to receive it. The Manager I believe her name was Dez. Gave me my order and almost forgot a bag of chips ok understandable then I leave heading home I smell my food and open it up realized it’s not what I ordered so then I had to come all the way back to get it remade. I go into the store say this is not what I ordered and obviously I want it remade that the whole reason I came back. No apology what so ever so I said to the lady so no apology or anything and all I’m told is “ well I just remade it for you so why would I”. 1. I had to come all the way back when it should have been correct in the first place!! After hearing this yes I was completely upset and said some words but then I apologized but apparently that wasn’t good enough when she should have apologized first. What has this...
