Stopped through this location last night with my family as we were Headed up state from our vacation. We use the drive-through and everything seems fine, gentleman taking the order got everything right and all of our food was right, but... As we sat at the drive-thru window waiting on our food my wife decided to dump out some water left in her water bottle onto the pavement next to the passenger side of the car. It was water. she took the bottle back inside of the car. As she did that a group of about 4 of the employees, probably coming back from a break, when one of the guys stopped and stared at us from the entrance of the restaurant while we sat at the drive-thru window. They seemed to be staring at my wife dumping the water out on the pavement, when I kind of yelled around the window "oh don't worry it's water just water." He yelled something back about trash on the ground or something, because we are the kind of people that hate litters or littering of any kind. He went inside with the rest of the group, but as we sat at the window continue to wait for our food in about to leave I noticed that that particular gentleman was standing at the end of the counter staring dead at me for at least 10 seconds. I felt compelled to tell him one more time that we were just dumping water on the ground, and in a very civil matter of fact tone. He apparently didn't like me telling him that and he stormed down to the drive-thru window and started telling me about litter on the ground and cussing at me and even drop an F-bomb in front of my kids. I was kind of in shock because I wondered what had gotten so angry about us dumping some water on the ground. My wife convinced me that I should engage any longer in that we needed to go. Personally I really wanted to fill out a police report, but if I am ever driving through Jasper again I would never stop at that place. I hope that young man figures out what is making him so angry but he did need to take it out on us. That was the worst customer service I've seen in years, not really customer service but verbally attacking a customer is more like it. Soda wrap this up I will say that a couple of the other employees got in front of him and push him away from the window and tried to calm him . It made me think that they knew that he might try to come through the window and swat at me or hit me because he seems pretty angry. It was a very freaky what in the world is going on situation. Extremely bizarre behavior, and I will never go back there again. By the way the food was all correct and...
Read moreWorst Wendy's I've ever been to. Let me tell you why.
I walked in the front door, and a broom and dustpan were strewn across the floor which I had to step over to access the front-counter. Then I proceeded to order. I ordered a #6 (Spicy Chicken) with a substitute of a small chili instead of fries. After he gave me my cup so I could get my drink, he then tells me "Oh hey man, I forgot to tell you but we don't have any spoons in the store so you'll have to eat your chili with a fork." I wasn't too disappointed because I knew the chili is quite chunky, though it would've been nice to know this before ordering it. After receiving my food, I sat down at a booth by the window. The window was covered in greasy hand-marks, which was disgusting. The booth in front of me had grease marks on the window as well. As I opened the wrapper to my chicken sandwich, I noticed it was 'flatter' than normal. So I removed the top-bun and noticed there was no tomato. I walked to the front-counter and told them they forgot to put the tomato on my sandwich. "Oh ya, we don't have any tomatoes either." I said, "Wow, damn." and the lady that was currently ordering at the counter said, "They should go across the street to Walmart and get some spoons and tomatoes." and I said, "Yeah, right" so I grabbed my sandwich off the counter and ate it anyway. The girl that was running the drive-thru left about every 2-3 minutes to go hit a puff on a cigarette with another fellow in his Jeep. This fellow should've been on his way to get spoons and tomatoes instead of littering his cigarette butts in the parking lot. The food was satisfactory, but the service was not. I...
Read moreAn older male employee managing the register was incredibly rude to me and my grandma when we came in to pick up a mobile order, we did not order much at all. Merely 14$ worth of food for two people, but we were stuck waiting for a good while as four people came in after us, placed larger orders than ours and got their food quickly and got out. All the while he kept staring directly at us and responding in a irritated tone anytime my grandma asked about our order. And when we finally DID get our order, they got it partially wrong and didn't even provide us with straws. I assume the reason they treated us so poorly was because they assumed since we were doing a mobile order that we were door-dash employees? As when my grandma went back inside to retrieve our straws she overheard them gossiping something about door-dash. But even then that's no reason to be so unprofessional to a paying customer. Food was fine. TLDR; Absolutely horrid service, good food. (But this is a wendys so if the food were bad that'd be an...
