Mountain Dick's Pizza — Restaurant in Jay

We weren’t staying at the resort but when we searched pizza near me (Westfield) we found this place. Wasn’t difficult to find, once you park and walk up the ramp to the side entrance from outside the hotel. We were 2nd in line, Lin moved quickly and our food was ready in 17 min (maybe 15 😃) We weren’t staying far so food was still hot when we arrived, didn’t expect red onion but it was perfect. The buffalo chicken wrap was a flavored warps and I did t expect the bag of chips, nice. It was $38 for a large 2 topping, and the wrap. If we are back in the area and staying this close to Jays peak we’d come here for pizza again. The pizza is fairly decent but not the greatest A large is $18 but and everything pizza large is $20 The problem I had is I ordered a bud light and was charged $9 when I asked was that correct because they charged me for an Allagash beer . I thought it was a mistake The worker told me it was correct and it not there problem

There beer menu is covered by a piece of electrical tape on prices but the take out menu show $6 not $9

Even at the water park a domestic beer 16 ounces is $7 dollars

I have eaten pizza all across this nation, and as far as the plain cheese served here I would rate it as a 2.5 star out of 5. It's not bad just not great, as it lacks almost any real flavor. Both the cheese and sauce are lackluster. The meat lovers pizza is good and would give it a rating of 3.5 out of 5. Overall I do believe that it is overpriced for the size and quality of the pizza, (in fairness the remoteness of the shop may partially justify the cost) the staff were nice and it's a cool little restaurant space.
