PLS Check Cashers — Local services in Jefferson Township

Very ashamed of this place; also very ashamed of the service that these supposed to be professionals behave in that location dont you guys notice that none of them not even thank you for bringing in your business to them and they're just simply careless, simple heartless what's worse is that none of the can give you a straight answer; it only took 10 times going to that location to finally find out where the heck was my title, just left there not long ago and was begging them to process a simple $600 hundred quick payment; and the first excuse for their ignorance was that western union was not accepting any payments for more than $580; I said okay send it. Second excuse for their ignorance was that western union wasn't accepting any payments under my name; then I said: " okay let's process the payment under my coworker"; third excuse was that western union wasn't accepting any payments not even from my coworker; I said fine no problem would you give me something as proof that the payment got denied so I can show them, literally begged for proof thays how important this payment was for me and they just sent me my way out. Going home depressed saw the currency exchange on Laramie and diversey, I desired to stop and try one more time and the kind sweet lady just took my information and processed my quick collect payment in such a delighted manner that I went back to PLS currency exchange on kostener and diversey to give them back an excess of change that they gave when they returned my $600 (remember when they told me I could only send $580? So the point of this post is that not even a simple thanks you get from that whole crew there; there's no difference in any of the shifts they all shall be fired so they appreciate our hard well earned money, that bring and spend there...what a shady location; not even with all the high fees that they have, they can not even provide air conditioning to the premises, even with the masks you can still smell everyone's other smells. Do a favor and refrain from going to this...

CSR had the nerve to go change the radio station TWICE in the process of cashing my regular, weekly, company printed check (when there should not have been a delay at all while verifying that everything looks as usual with no suspicious deviations), and only hurried back when she caught me looking at her doing it both times, all while there's a full lobby of impatient customers waiting! Place drags whether there's a line or not, and most importantly, you could bring through legitimate company checks weekly, regularly, and still have to wait to get verified as if there's always something questionable about you or the check (it's not a handwritten, personal check).

It's insane how long customers wait in line for any service, regardless of time of day or night, day of week, short-staffed or over staffed. all windows closed for the outgoing shift, being the last in line for a handful of, they close except the night person, when they could've easily and quickly taken care of it, like they eventually had to because their overnighter is incapable of taking a phone bill payment. would've been a complete water of time if it was only the untrained started member and not a team lead, that could've staggered the closeouts better, so to not overwhelm their own or underserve the public. but of course, it was Friday so everyone must've been going...

I had never visited PLS and needed to cash a check for a substantial amount. I chose the location on 4400 W. Diversey for their assistance. I went in the early afternoon and felt that the location was safe and the employees were efficient and friendly with everyone who came in. Because it was my first time ever cashing a check at PLS, there were several ladies who needed to work together to assist me. I admired their efficiency and teamwork as they worked together to help me with cashing my substantial check. They seemed as if they were a happy family, and they made me feel like family as well. Thanks to their efforts, I cashed my check safely and with much satisfaction. A special thanks to Maira, Iris and all of the other ladies who worked so we'll together, to help me that day. I recommend this PLS location...
