Dunkin' — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I stopped in solely because I was in the area and had a craving for a hibiscus tea, which is usually what I purchase at Dunkin' Donuts. During that visit I discovered the plant-based beyond sausage sandwich which gave me a reason to revisit. Hehe, you can also give the assist to a fellow Yelper on the west coast - Birdie M, who wanted to beat me to trying the sandwich after I shared a picture of its advertisement which added to that urgency to revisit for bragging rights.

I want to point it out there that this is a bad spot for a business, being that traffic is congested at times on exiting roads N. Lincoln & N. California. It will leave you altering your route or doing something unorthodox in order to leave depending on what time of the day you visit. On the other hand, the inside of this location is snug, just like the shared, tight parking space that comes with it. Just throwing it out there; I drive a Nissan Sentra, but if you drive an SUV you may have to re-adjust your vehicle just to leave or as you enter the lot.

As for the plant-based beyond sausage sandwich, it didn't taste bad or even both of the drinks (hibiscus tea & sweet tea) I ordered during my back-to-back visits. I can't ask for much with any restaurant, let alone Dunkin' being that they are many scattered throughout Chicago. And we all know the mediocrity that comes with that.

The service I received at this location was nothing less than great. And I would gladly return in the future during one of the least congested times of the day in this area. worst experience ever. i will never come back here again. we got in the store and there was a costumer in front of us, they finished giving their order and the cashier was like “have a good day” before giving the costumer their coffee. the costumer asked for it then she gave it them. we got two nesquiks and asked for 4 waters. total was $9. i said you’re not supposed to charge for water but we gave $100 to her. she said she only has $50 dollars in the cash register. when every cash register is supposed to have $200- $250 dollars at least. we took the $100 and we didn’t wanna pay extra for water then she deleted them. gave us water in a cup without a lid, when there’s virus everywhere. we asked for 4 water she only gave us two with no lid. we asked for lid she kept apologizing. we said we’ll pay for the cups with lid so she gave us 2 cups of water with lid and took the other too. we got really mad and we took the other two waters with no lid. i always come to this store but i’ve never payed for water which i still didn’t because why would i. can someone teach this girl that you’re not supposed to be...

There's 3 people working, no drive thru. When I came in there was one person who had already ordered. I waited for 5 minutes, no idea why, while they talked amongst themselves in a foreign language. No one is in any hurry to help me. Eventually someone asks me what I want. At this point there's a line of 5 people and 2 more people walk in moments later. I get 2 donuts and a coffee.
