Hub's Restaurant — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

This place has completely fallen off. Not sure what’s going on. My husband and I placed an order for a beef gyro plate with extra meat and a cheeseburger meal for my father in laws birthday over the phone ( We have been ordering from this place for the last 15+ years) he went to pick up the food and once he got home there was a chicken gyro instead of a beef, we called them and they said come on in and pick up the right one, we apologize. He went to pick it up and once he got home the second time, there was a chicken gyro AGAIN. We called them and asked if this is was some sort of joke ? The lady on the phone was not apologetic at all, she instead accused us of saying we wanted a chicken gyro on the phone which makes no sense because we came back for the beef gyro after returning the chicken one ??? So I drove there again and asked them for the correct food and if I could be compensated for the inconvenience, time, and gas wasted driving back and forth (we live atleast 20 min away) and she said absolutely not. She continued to argue with me that we stated chicken gyro on the phone and that it’s not her mistake. I think this is really unacceptable, we were loyal customers for almost 20 years and I am so saddened to say that we, unfortuntely, will never be...

This has been my favorite restaurant for 40+ years. I’m so disappointed with how the quality has just gone down down down. Few days ago we ordered and for the third time in a row the food was TERRIBLE. We don’t like to complain so we never have. Well, this past time I just couldn’t help myself. I relayed the information abs the girl said that there is no one there to tell. I said I would like to leave a message to be called back because 2 of the 4 dinners are not edible. It’s ridiculous to pay that much and throw the food away. My 81 year old mother ALWAYS gets the ribs. She loves them. They were BLACK and so so hard the baked potato was darker inside than outside. Obviously burned or days old. My husband had the chicken fingers which were so over cooked they were sawdust with the same disgusting baked potato. I always get the chicken kebabs and they were dry but ok. My daughter had the half Greek chicken and while not as juicy as most other times still ok. All four of us had to share those two dinners. I was never called back and when I called again was told no one would call me back. Ok. It’s was amazing while it lasted. So sad that a 40 year relationship had to end like that 😢. 4 generations of our family have loved this restaurant...

Food is amazing l! Prices are reasonable with inflation. Customer service is great! The minute we walked in we were greeted although I see so many horrible reviews don’t be fooled by! I had to encounter a horrible delivery driver cut us and the employee handled it quite well as she told the driver there is a line and she would be with him soon but he started screaming at the poor girl! She did well because I wouldn’t have not served him at all. While we were siting another driver got furious the order was not ready and was leaning towards the trays where the food is placed and the ladies kindly told him to step aside as the trays were there and again driver got furious. These poor girls work hard enough and to encounter stuff like this is not ok! These drivers not to be patient and wait for the food! Hub’s food is fresh it’s not fast food where it’s frozen. Everything is made to order but these drivers just want an easy route. I reassured the ladies in the front to ignore all the drivers and that they were doing an amazing job dealing with everything especially during a rush!...
