Lo's China Kitchen — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Do not carry out at this restaurant... first of all, the food is average at best... but, check this out... I picked up my food just before closing time on Friday night, and drove 10 minutes home, opened up the 3 dishes and one of them, scallops w vegetables, to our surprise, had not a single scallop... zero!

They forgot to put in the scallops ... I called at 10:05pm but no one answered... they close at 10:00 pm. When I went in Monday to tell them they never put in the scallops, the owners, an older couple, were there and they actually called me a liar and told me they didn't believe me. They made a huge deal out of it and actually said they asked the Cook and he said he remembers the dish and he put in a lot of scallops . It was surreal, I have carried out there a few times before when nothing else was close. They actually refused to give me money back or a replacement dish. The woman is so mean and disrespectful. She said she will believe her cook over the customer and I should never come back again. The husband sat there like a cigar store Indian and said nothing except that the scallops were in it but they "cut them thin" and maybe I mistook them for the water chestnuts. Basically, the place is nothing special, the owners are mean, cheap people and they will look u in the eye and lie to u to not make good on a $7.95 mistake they made. Living in the Suburbs it can be difficult to find good Chinese food. I was online searching for restaurants and ran across this one and many others. I usually decide based on reviews because not all places have picture-perfect food. Something about this place stood out the most so me and my husband gave it a try. All I can say is you will not be disappointed! The flavor, the portions, the packaging, the service, and the prices are AMAZING!!!! I'm mad I'm just finding this hidden gem but I'm happy that I did. I live about an hour away and will take that trip in a blink for this place. I normally don’t eat Chinese food but I just wanted some hot food with no meat today. I googled the restaurants near me and saw that they had a broccoli dish on their combination dinner menu so decided to stop in. They honestly gave me so much food that I have leftovers. They give you an egg drop soup, egg roll, fried rice and then the entree. Everything was nice and hot and good! I wasn’t really into the egg drop soup because I don’t like eggs but I ate it anyways since it had flavor to it 🤷🏻‍♀️

The restaurant is very clean, nice and warm (it is 19 degrees out right now) and the ladies were very nice and pleasant.

I will probably eat more...
