What was once a great place to eat because it was a community spot that had affordable dishes, has now become a little higher priced by about 15% for the food and they have added a tax for eating in the restaurant. I asked about the receipt and saw the price for my Mexican eggs, a tamale and a cup of coffee soar to over $14.00, not counting my tip. Now remember that this is like a neighborhood restaurant, not the Ritz. Not too many months ago I was paying around 10 - 11 for breakfast without being worried about an additional charge which is not advertised anywhere - on the menu or anywhere else. They are somewhat reluctant to give a receipt and I fully understand why, considering the hidden charges. Unfortunately the clients don't leave a tip I was told, which is the reason the sit-inside tax was started. I'm not even sure this is a legal tax. I'm going to reconsider eating here because of the things mentioned above and just might let some time pass to see of policies change.

Tacos are amazing here. The carne asada was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The steak is slightly fatty, which really enhances the flavor. The Al pastor is great as well. Very flavorful and cooked well. The tortilla is soft and durable. Service was great. Parking available in the strip mall lot. Small place with limited seating. I definitely recommend this place and will be going back to try more items.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE. Their customer service is horrible and the owner of the restaurant has a bad attitude as well. I’ve ordered their tamales and they are super dry for the price and they add a tiny bit of chicken. Their food is always either overcooked or they charge you extra. I had been ordering off the phone everyday for it to be delivered and every time my food arrived cold and they forgot to add extras that I was charged for like avocado, sour cream, ect. One time I ordered at 8PM and my food didn’t arrive until 10:30PM yet I live so close to restaurant. You would think they’d want my food to be warm so I can enjoy it. Also, be very careful with your receipts as they don’t like to give them to you if you pay card because there’s always these random charges that the waitress adds for no reason. Last but not least the last time I ordered something my meat was super overcooked and it tasted horrible and I called the waitress immediately because I had asked for it to be cooked at medium well and she said if I came to the restaurant they could remake me my dishes. So I brought it back. Mind you I had placed this order for it to be delivered and I still had to go back to the restaurant so they could get my order right! So I get to the restaurant and she tells me they ran out of their meat. Who runs out of meat? And that she’s sorry but couldn’t refund me my food either even after I barely touched it and drove to their restaurant! What kind of business are...

I should have read the reviews first. However, my friend said the food is good. The food was tasty. Order the huaraches of steak, Chile relleno and a gordita of presado the green salsa is very good. No customer service at all. The huskier lady serving us was not rude but definitely not service friendly. The bill came it was 29$ before ALL fees and taxes that brought the bill to 39$! 🙀 asked about the charges and was told 10% to dine in, 4% to use credit or debit and I didn't get the answer to the rest. Was frustrated at this point took the 8$ tip we left and walked out. Will not support this establishment ever again! They get away with this kind of behavior because most people get up and pay....their own latino customers. Other good places in the...
