Subway — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

Today, I placed an online order. Upon arrival, I informed the employee that I was there to pick up my order. He then told me that a specific item I had ordered was unavailable. At first, I had difficulty understanding him due to his heavy accent, but I eventually understood and requested a refund for the unavailable item.

The employee responded by raising his voice and stated that he could not issue a refund because the order was placed online. I found this reasoning unacceptable, as I have never encountered a policy where online orders are not eligible for refunds. This interaction left me feeling as though the employee was attempting to keep my money without providing the item I ordered.

After a prolonged and unpleasant exchange, he eventually refunded me $6 but also told me to never return to the restaurant. This experience was extremely disappointing, as I have always enjoyed dining at Subway. However, due to this incident, I will not be returning to this location and cannot recommend it to others. I placed an online order to pick up, thinking it would be quick and easy. When I walked in and asked about the order, the guy immediately got mad, as if I was inconveniencing him just by being there. He shoved the order at me and flat-out told me to never come back. The place was completely dead—no customers inside or in the parking lot—so it's not like they were swamped or anything. Ordered online since they had a BoGo deal and only could use online, when picking it up I was told by only person there that next time “order at cashier” in arrogant tone, I told him what you mean he said “order here”.
