Star East — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I have been eating from Stareast for more than 20 years and had no idea there were new owners. I had a complaint about a regular dish I and my family order. There was a lack of flavor, the shrimp was overcooked and tasted old, for this dish to be chop suey they barely added any bean sprouts. It seems to me they slammed the dish with vegetables that would typically NOT be used in chop suey. Then I was taken back by the lack of carelessness of the manager that I spoke to. I brought my concerns to her and she told me "well no one has complained before" instead of asking is there something I can do to make things better? Such as replacing (swap out) the dinner or providing a partial refund. She didn't bother, she didn't care about my concerns. Pretty sad to say the least, a loyal customer of 20yrs they have lost. If I was able to give a less than 1 star I would do it in a heartbeat. Customer service is...

The food is pretty good . My family and I have order from there a couple times now . Delivery is quite fast BUT the delivery man is always so weird.... And it is always the same guy, when he gives us the receive and we have to sign the paper he hands it to us without even looking our way or if he does he goes so quickly like he is in a hurry..... And today we ordered some food from here this man didn't even get out of the car!!!! He handed me the receive tru his window AND my food as well.... Talk about lazyness. Just putting it out here other than that the food is really great !!!! I give it 4 stars bc of the food but not...

Tried to charge me twice! Went in, ordered, paid , signed the receipt and stepped out for the 10 mins she said it would take. She tried charging me again and said I never paid, I tried to give her a fair chance before I pulled out my copy of the receipt in which she rudely janked it from me and when I asked if I could have my copy back she said " You got your food you can go!" The shisty gesture alone made up my mind about boycotting this place forever, then the anticlimactic, mediocre food was the nail on the coffin....
