As with all new restaurants, someone will always find something to complain about. To be honest everyone has their own set of taste buds. So not everything is made equal for everyone.

I have to say when I walked in, I didn't know what to expect. The ambiance and atmosphere did surprise me. In a really really good way, it's like sauna decor meets family style eating, meets modern look. There's a very down to earth woody feel to the place that literally makes you feel like you are a part of the smoky outdoors experience. This is truly where heaven is for smoked food lovers. The service and space is perfect. Usually you find yourself cramped in some random restaurant usually grasping for air. Here all the tables and chairs are well spaced and give plenty of room. It's so nice not to have to hit other people, as if we're playing a game of bumper cars for dinner. Huge points for the restaurant putting out free water! Shows that they genuinely care about their customers and won't charge them a ridiculous premium for tap water! Kudos! The feel of having waiters here is nice. But feels like it doesn't match the feel of the place. It's definitely somewhere between fancy and mundain. But it definitely a welcome plus. I had the smoked pulled brisk burger and it was surprising, an experience, and absolutely delicious 😋. It's hard to even contemplate. I myself don't like brisket. In many restaurants I find it dry and gross. Like it was precooked, destroyed, and then slathered in BBQ sauce. Here, the brisket was soft, delicious, and you can tell that care was given when making this brisket. Infused with delicious flavor in every bite. What's this? It comes with an actual burger as well!? With all the veggies and toppings on a burger? Amazing. Truly incredible. The fries look like they were hand made and the spice on them is bursting with flavor in every bite. Ok, ok, I know I'm obsessing here. Not to mention I got a plate of the "burnt ends"! You must, must, must taste it! I won't tell you anything about it in fear that it will be a spoiler. All In all what an aesthetically pleasing restaurant with really good service. Can't wait...

This is long overdue but I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Michael and his team for helping us pull together a wonderful private get together for a group of 40 people back in March of this year. Michael worked with our budget, our very specific service requests and our overall lack of organization and showed nothing but grace.
