Bar tender was a total jerk. I asked to buy an unopened bottle of beer to take to my final destination as I was arriving really late at an AirBnB in Indiana where alcohol sales stop at 8:00 PM on Sundays, and the nightcap would have been nice. The bartender took my credit card then as he handed me the bottle he opened it. I reminded him that I wanted to just buy the unopened bottle and he curtly told me they don't sell beer to go.

He could have told me that prior to charging $9.50 plus tax to my card. I consider this deceptive, probably illegal and generally just rude. There was no need for this passive aggressive behavior. I had very politely and cheerfully asked for a simple bottle of beer but instead I was forced to pay for his insult. As my boyfriend and I approached the bar, the curly-haired, red-headed female bartender was cold and rude immediately to us. As she turned to talk nicely to her coworker, my boyfriend and I sat anyway, figuring maybe the first impression of service was a fluke, but within five minutes the bartender was mean to another customer, making the customer feel stupid for having trouble hearing her, and within twenty minutes, she was again hostile to the next couple that tried to order with her, weirdly trying to turn some miscommunication they were apparently having with her into their fault. The entire airport seems to have identical beer menus so if you're stopping in for a quick pint, it would be much more pleasant to go elsewhere. The guy with the beard is straight up just mean to people. He wasn't rude to me but I saw several interactions happen while I was drinking my overpriced $23 vodka and ginger ale.

Two guys asked for very simple drinks and he scoffed and said, "We don't do that here."

He yelled at people that they needed to leave if they weren't getting a drink because they were about to close. He called last call at 8:40. He continued to serve those at the bar but sent away anyone coming in.

A few minutes before 9:30 he yells at us that we need to get out because they're closing.
