Letâs be honest â most airport meals taste like regret and lost luggage. But Wolfgang Puck at OâHare? This place is a first-class upgrade for your taste buds.
I stopped in expecting your standard airport fare â overpriced, underwhelming, and possibly microwaved in a broom closet. Instead, I was greeted by a crew of delightful staff who acted like I was the most important person flying out of Terminal 5 (spoiler: I was not). Their energy was warm, upbeat, and just the right amount of sassy â like a great bartender who knows when to chat and when to slide the drink over with a wink.
Speaking of drinks: the barâs got a solid lineup. I asked for a recommendation and was met with a spot-on beer pairing like I was dining at a downtown gastropub, not sitting 50 feet from a Hudson News.
Now letâs talk food â I had the pepperoni pizza, and folks, it slapped. Crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and cheese that actually melts (take notes, other airport joints). My seat neighbor had the chicken salad and looked like they were having a religious experience, so I assume that was a win too.
In short: if youâre at OâHare and want to eat like a human being (or even better, like a slightly bougie traveler with taste), hit up Wolfgang Puck. Great food, fast service, and staff so cheerful they almost made me forget about my 3-hour...
Read moreStopped by Wolfgang Puck Express by K12 gate for a quick lunch and was really happy with my experience. The Margherita pizza was flavorful and freshâcrust baked just right with vibrant roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil added after baking for that aromatic touch. It was easily one of the best airport pizzas Iâve had. What impressed me even more was the service: the team was incredibly friendly and efficient, especially the Chef, who was multitasking like a pro . I was in and out with my hot pizza in under 12 minutesâperfect for a layover. Seating is limited, but the food quality and fast, warm service more than made up for it. Definitely worth a stop for great pizza and top-notch service at ORD. Tell them...
Read moreThe pizza was quite disappointing. While I didn't anticipate an extraordinary pizza, I was surprised by how Little Caesars' taste was superior than this. Given the $20 price tag, I had hoped for better flavor. Unfortunately, it was bland, excessively oily, lacking in sauce, and overall lacked any flavor. This was one of the least enjoyable food experiences I've had at O'Hare, especially considering my frequent visits to the airport. My advice would be to stick to the food court for better options that will not only save you money but also provide a more satisfying culinary experience for...
