As a Starbucks gold member since 2014 i visit daily and often a few different locations in a single day. This location they seem overwhelmed though they have a rather large staff. I use the app to place my order prior to arrival amd find often times that even 20 mins later my order is not ready although people walking in amd standing in line get theirs quickly. It never fails EVERY visit theres a mistake. A few times my breakfasy sandwich has been guven to me still frozen. I have reached out to the store manager as well as diatrict manager with no results. This location is next to my place of employment making it the logical choice however the other stores nearby are far better at getting things right as well as prompt. I understand theyre busy but when the mobile app says 4 to 9 minutes for order amd i arrive 10 mins later and have to wait another 10 mins its veey disappointing. That 20 mins could possibly b spent driving to another location but im sure that wouldnt b enough time. And i shouldnt have to drive to another when i can walk to the one im spending the equivalent of a luxury car payment...

Japanese Starbucks are in average much better than American Starbucks, in atmosphere, service, and quality of preparation. Basically they just seem to care more. I'll mainly give a shout out to the two locations in 武蔵小杉, and the one by the Sobu department store in Yokohama station, all of which are fine places, although usually crowded, so finding a seat can be difficult (at max capacity employees will start enforcing a line for seating). Food menus are quite limited though.
Within the U.S., quality varies enormously by location, my main experience in the last few years has been in the Chicago Edgewater store on Clark Street. Read moreI ordered 3 mocha frappes this morning through mobile app. I arrived at the store 10 minutes after ordering. I saw the African American lady ( don’t know her name ) started making my order. I was waiting for another 6 minutes in the store then I saw two drinks were placed on the pick up area. Then I kept waiting for my third drink. That African American lady left . Initial, I thought she was waiting for the coffee dripping or waiting someone bring her milk or something else. In fact , she left my drink in the blender; did not finished. That African American lady was distracted by something else. At this point, I went to the cashier and questioned my order . Another lady started pouring my drink to the cup and finished my order.
